His ability to make the proper reads and then throw the ball timely to his receivers is excellent. He also shows good touch with the way he throws the ball. Then his ability to play action and throw the ball is excellent. In his last game, he played well as he threw for 243 yards in the win vs. South Fayette. Jansma is playing quarterback at a high level for Canon-McMillan.

Jansma is a textbook pocket passer. He stands tall and works his quick reads well. He gets to his second and third reads when needed. Ty doesn’t have the biggest arm in terms of pushing the ball deep downfield, but he does have great velocity to hit closing windows and tight throws. With another season coming and some good targets to work with, I think Jansma is in for his biggest season yet.

is a classic pocket quarterback who delivers a good football to his receivers. He is like a machine in the pocket. He does a good job of getting through his progressions to find the open receivers. When the play breaks down Jasma shows a good ability to escape the pocket and look downfield to find the open receivers. He has excellent mechanics and footwork in the pocket, and you can see he has been trained well on how to throw the football. Jansma is a legit quarterback prospect who should continue to grow and get better.

His processing of information and then throwing a good football is impressive. Jansma also shows good mechanics in the pocket. He does a good job of setting his feet to throw the ball. Jansma has a ton of talent and showed it last season.

stepped in and started two and a half games for Canon-McMillan as a Freshman. He played at a very high level in those games. Jansma has good mechanics when throwing the ball. He especially shows quiet feet as he can set his feet and throw the ball well. Jansma can also move well in and around the pocket. He also shows an ability to throw the ball on the run either on designed plays or when the play breaks down. Jansma should have a chance to start next year at quarterback for Canon-McMillan.
