Cameron was a guy who’s film came across my desk a bit late. I first wrote about him less than a year ago, but we’ve had him ranked for a little while.
I watched Cameron against Saline, and I could totally see why Wisconsin likes him so much. He’s big, physical, and can completely neutralize any power rusher. I love the way Cameron is able to anchor himself when dealing with a more powerful defender. Plus, he has a quick first step and enough agility to execute practically any block. He needs to become even more agile in college, but overall, I like his potential.

Looking back on the season, Cameron was the best offensive lineman I’ve seen. Back then, I was a bit critical of his Week 2 performance. Now, not so much.
Yes, Cameron missed a few blocks against a phenomenal speed rusher. That’s definitely something he needs to work on, but other than that, Cameron was stellar. Solid footwork, decent agility, and exactly the mentality you want from a lineman. A B1G 10 prospect through and through.

Wisconsin always seems to get a few elite Michigan prospects. Over the past three years, Cameron has worked his tail off to get his body and skills to an elite B1G prospect level.
- Very impressive power
- Well-polished pass blocker, especially against Power rushers
- Dominates his base and down blocks
- Should continue working on agility at next level

During Dexter’s first two drives, I focused entirely on the two tackles,

I really liked what I saw from Cameron, and I think he was easily the best offensive lineman on either team (and I honestly didn’t know which tackle was who until later).
For someone as tall as 6’7″, movement is half the battle. A lot of tall linemen struggle mightily with body control, and Cameron is not one of them. Part of it is experience and practice, while another big part is being at a good weight for the position while staying fit year-round. It’s easy to understand why a school like Wisconsin would want Cameron, as someone with his size who moves well is very, very rare.
I liked what I saw from Cameron’s first few drives. To start, his run-blocking footwork is very strong. It didn’t matter what block he was trying to execute, Cameron always took the right steps and put his body in a great position to make a play. In addition, his tenacity and overall effort were good, but not elite.
Pass blocking is an area where some flaws surfaced. Mainly, his agility. Cameron was going up against some of the fastest EDGE talent in Michigan, and on a good few occasions, the defense was too fast for him. Now, I think he still has solid pass blocking technique (though started to look a bit frantic and off-balance later in the game). Also, when Cameron got a good punch on someone, they were more often than not eliminated from the play. The agility just got a little exposed, and that’s something that he’ll undoubtedly work on at Wisconsin.
All in all, I still definitely view Cameron as one of the elite OL prospects in Michigan. It was an up-and-down performance, but I’m confident that he’ll learn and bounce back.

today. A few years ago, he was an extremely raw prospect, and I was unsure if he’d pan out. Today, Cameron is a Wisconsin commit and undoubtedly one of the most improved players over the past couple of years.
I’m looking for well-roundedness with Cameron. First off, how does he move? Most of the 6’5″+ linemen I watch struggle with movement, so I’d be impressed if Cameron is agile. Second, overall tenacity- does Cameron have the ‘juice’ to be an elite college lineman?

Cam is another prospect who has had a meteoric rise since the beginning of 2024. Last season, Cam displayed a ton of improvement, and had the breakout season he needed to propel himself to being a D1 prospect. At first, he picked up MAC offers. As camp season rolled on, Cam began receiving offers from a ton of B1G 10 schools. Watch his film and you’ll see a ton of fundamental prowess plus physical dominance. I especially like his first step, overall balance, and initial pop he brings to the defender. I’d like to see a bit better agility, but that’s a bit nitpciky. He’s committed to Wisconsin and I expect him to contribute at the next level!
