Ramsey is one of the more efficient and quick switched passers across Idaho and checked into our rankings as a top 10 player at his position. He reads defenses quickly, does a good job buying time with his legs while keeping his eyes downfield and has a quick and snappy release to get the ball out fast and can fit his throws into tight windows. He does a tremendous job moving defenders with his eyes and working quickly through his progressions while showing he can put good touch on the ball over the top with velocity and spin. He is also a very efficient passer and is not afraid to take what is given downfield. Ramsey should have a very successful camp circuit this summer and is definitely a name to note as we move through the 2025 season.

Ramsey checks into our quarterback rankings as a top ten signal caller in a loaded class, and is coming off a outstanding season for Eagle. He threw for nearly 1,800 yards and 23 TD’s while tacking on another 200 yards on the ground. He is a very accurate passer that does a good job navigating the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield and delivering the ball into tight windows. Ramsey lead his receivers open away from defenders and puts a good zip on the ball on both in-breaking and out-breaking routes. He shows he can quickly read coverage’s and does a good job moving through his progressions while not afraid to take what is given underneath.

Ramsey had one of the top performances of any player across the state of Idaho on Friday night. He was able to air it out to multiple receivers downfield and showed his big-time arm and precision passing abilities over the top. The Eagle standout threw for for over 150 yards and a staggering 4 scores, in Eagle’s big time win over Mountain View 52-14. Eagle is 4-1 on the year after suffering a tough loss to the number one team in Oregon in West Linn, and will look ahead to this week’s matchup against a 3-2 Owyhee squad.

Ramsey is a very efficient signal caller and one of the top in his class as we move through the 2024 season, and he will plenty of experience as he heads into his Junior season for Eagle. He throws a nice deep ball with good spin, velocity and placement over the top while showing he can process quickly, throw on the run and across his body without losing zip. Ramsey also has some under rated movement abilities in the pocket as well, flashing the ability to escape and get out of arm/ankle tackles and step up in the pocket to deliver the ball downfield. Ramsey is one of the best athletes on the field at any given time. He can hurt you with his elite speed and vision or with his quick twitch arm. He gets the ball out of his hand so fast and allows the athletes around him to make plays. Accurate with good touch and the ability to throw his teammates open. He is also a big time competitor and shows a willingness to do what ever it takes to win.
