Matthew was extremely impressive in his first year competing in the ISL. He is as reliable as it gets up front, not allowing any sacks in his sophomore season. His frame is the first thing that will catch your eye, at 6’5, 325lbs. He is a right tackle that uses his strength and size to his advantage. Matthew shows a strong punch and upper body strength. His size and strength project Matthew as a top OL in the state.

Matthew Eliasson had a very good performance during this camp. He measured in at 6’4 in height and 312 pounds in body weight. His wing span was measured at 78.5. He recorded a 5.53 and 5.55 40 times. He performed with a great natural wide base. Shows the ability to pass set naturally, slide, and mirror easily. He flashed the ability to maintain balance running, and can hit moving targets downfield. He can easily get to the second level and win in space. He is currently ranked as the # 4 offensive lineman in the class of 2027 in New England. His performance on the day caught the University of Rhode Island coaches attention, and he earned a verbal offer at the end of the camp.

Formerly a 2026 out of Plymouth South HS in Massachusetts, now a 2027 re-class enrolled at Milton Academy. Received an offer out of Campbell University last Fall, he’s on many programs’ radar currently. Can two-way as a legitimate right tackle and IDL. Looks bigger than 6’4 on tape, kid has long limbs both arms and legs. Fantastic initiator, great at the contact point in terms of hands use and hand striking. He’s a shocker, the beginning of his reps are a pleasure to watch. Great assignment locator too. Would have likely ranked as a top 50 2026, likely to be held in even higher regards now that he’s a 2027 in New England. Having this young man serve as a staple on this OL/DL unit for the next three years should have MA staff through the roof.

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Matt is a 6’3 240lb true freshman who gets better with every rep he gets on the football field. He was too big to play as an 8th grader, and as he adjusts to game speed, there is an elite football player in the making. At offensive tackle he is tenacious, has great feet, and is able to get downfield in the screen game. At defensive end, he was borderline unblockable and was able to take away one half of the field in most freshman games. I would not be surprised to see Matt’s stock take off after the BC camp this summer. He could be one of the best offensive linemen our program has seen in a long time.
