Headed to Auburn for his college days, Starr wrapped up his work at Ravenwood by becoming Mr. Football after a strong senior year that saw him make plays in three different ways. The Raptors senior defensive back handle business on defense by locking down receivers but also used his speed to produce big plays on offense that helped his Raptors team towards a region title and #1 seed in the playoffs. He was also a key piece on special teams with his return game. This was the best season yet from Starr and a prelude to what you may see on the college level.

Going through all the senior secondary tape, I saw Starr make the most improvement from an overall standpoint as this Mid-TN talent has the upside to become a Power Four lockdown cover corner. The Raptors senior defender has outstanding speed along with height, length and the quick feet that allows him the potential to cover big and fast wideouts on the outside. Starr is very athletic too, so his ceiling is quite high for the college game. He is also new to the position but Starr has taken to playing corner very well, showing why multiple Power Four schools are after his services.

, a defensive back at Ravenwood High School. Starr made an immediate impact on the offensive side of the ball, hauling in a clutch touchdown pass on the home team’s first offensive drive of the contest. On top of his great wingspan and catching ability, I liked how Starr could juke out defenders after the catch and absorb contact en route to the endzone.

, a defensive back at Ravenwood High School. Starr impresses me with his ability to read the offense like a book and quickly blast defenders to the ground after the catch. I also like how Starr can expect the pass and get in prime position for the interception, showcasing his ability to be disruptive on the defensive side of the ball.

Nobody from our #TN2025 secondary class has made a bigger rise than this Williamson County native, who recently took himself off the market by committing to Auburn. Starr is a natural athlete with some of the best speed you will find in this state along with height and length, which makes him a prime candidate to play cover corner down on “The Plains”. A smooth mover with fluid hips, Starr does a good job of using his speed to keep up with receivers while his length causes issues for those wideouts to see and bring in the ball. If cornerback doesn’t work, Starr I feel could easily move back into free safety and excel. His ability to be a gunner on special teams is outstanding as well. There is a lot to like about this guy and his upside on the next level. He just needs to keep learning and working and one day, Starr could be labeled as one of the best at his position on the collegiate gridiron.
