About Asher

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my play as a leader and film analyzer. If the phrase “Do your Job” was a person it would be me. I’m going to do my Job every play and make sure the other 10 on defense knows their job and does it to a high level. I love to blitz, make tackles for loss, and my specialty is creating turnovers. I play fast, but smart and under control.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m pretty laid back when I’m off the field. My mentality when I’m on the field has developed into a thinker with a chip on his shoulder that loves to hit and be physical all game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve won academic excellence awards and I plan to join maybe the schools lacrosse or wrestling teams. I would like to start a weight lifting club as well. Presently, I’m in Our foreign language club, 100 Kings, and our cultural diversity club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I love to volunteer and help others every chance I get. I’ve been in leadership roles since middle school where I became vice class president. This year I plan to be involved in student council and providing school tours.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Everyday is a challenge especially when you want to be good at your job. I’ve overcome challenges with my height in middle school and being looked over when I know I should be experiencing some of the same accolades and interest as some of my peers.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college I can contribute, learn daily and be challenged to get better each day.
