LB Justin Abanquah Justin Abanquah 5'10" | 195 lbs | LB Ardrey Kell | 2026 SC – Ardrey Kell
Justin is a young and physical linebacker prospect who has impressed in local camps already. This past season he had 76 tackles on the season while displaying good speed, great tackling ability in space, and discipline in coverage. I expect him to have an expanded role next season for the Knights.
WR Tyran Evans Tyran Evans 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR Vance | 2026 State NC – Chambers
Chambers has produced an incredible run of college-level talent over the past few years, and Tyran looks to be the next one in line at the receiver position. At 6’3 and 170 pounds already, you can see some very good speed and athleticism as he competes on the 7-on-7 circuit this spring. He can highpoint the football as well as win versus man coverage consistently.
DB Elijah Sellers – North Meck
Playing primarily from a safety position, I am impressed with how Elijah fills the alley in run support. It’s rare you find young defensive backs who enjoy contact, and he does. He also shows some good coverage skills with the ability to play man or zone fairly well. As he grows, he could be a strong safety/rover type of player that can cover slots and tight ends in man coverage.
ATH LJ Porter – Charlotte Christian
LJ is going to have an opportunity to really break out this upcoming season. He plays running back and safety, and contributed to a very good team last season on both sides of the ball, but with some talented seniors graduating you will see his talent shine. At 6’0 190 pounds he has excellent speed and explosiveness. That’s reflected in several highlights where he walks up on the line of scrimmage and creates havoc coming off the edge. Excited for him this year.
ATH Andrew Harris – Weddington
At 6’2 and 200 pounds, Andrew made some impact plays from both the defensive end and defensive tackle positions for the Warriors last year. Great explosiveness from his first step at either position sets him up to use his hands well in shedding blocks. He also is a strong open-field tackler already. Charlotte was smart to offer him early, he has a very bright future.
