Over our years of evaluating specialists in the Dakotas, I have found that our hit rate on specialists has been solid over the years and in this 2025 class, my eyes are Fargo South’s Keaton Docken Keaton Docken 6'2" | 170 lbs | K/P Fargo South | 2025 State ND as a Division I specialist target. As a junior, Keaton was a perfect 9/9 on field goals and every field goal I watched on tape had more than enough distance to carry distance in the 45-48 yard range. Keaton also impressed me with the very consistent hangtime you want out of your kicker as this young man showed off plenty of poise that I could tell too with his body language on every kick. With his punts, Keaton excels on tape with his coffin corners well inside the 20 yard line with hangtime to develop as a punter. Having that family pedigree with an older brother already at the FCS level, I believe Keaton is next up amongst kickers in the Dakotas to become a Division I target which should be seen after camps this summer. The proficiency of Keaton’s leg has setup the Bruins with plenty of touchbacks on special teams these first handful of weeks, as Keaton has also seen improved hangtime and distance with his punts as well. Keaton also is a kicker prospect that carries plenty of hangtime on his field goals as that has grown since I watched him over the summer as a prospect that is a quick learner when given a new skillset to develop. Unleashing our first kicker to the PRZ Dakotas Big Dogs of the Week, we meet Fargo South’s Keaton Docken Keaton Docken 6'2" | 170 lbs | K/P Fargo South | 2025 State ND who to say the least, was pulverizing the ball in the Bruins 36-6 victory over Williston. The stats speak for themselves, but watching Keaton’s tape from the Williston game, he gave the Coyotes special teams unit no chances as he kicks not only hammered into the back of the end zone, I also liked the hangtime he showed with them. He also made a 36 yard field goal that clearly showed a kicking leg that can reach for well over 40 yards which I would expect Keaton to get some chances for this season.
