Stats: 270+ yards Total Offense
We got a great look into the pass protection talents of the under the radar senior OL. Pierce has a massive frame at 6’7″ 285 lbs that will be able to stay out at OT at the next level. The senior is still rather new to OT, and his development from 2023 was easily noticeable. He used his superior length to his advantage as he always made first contact and used that reach to steer edge rushers away from the QB. I was also surprised at how light on his feet Pierce was. That body control, balance, and footwork are where he has made his biggest strides. A team that puts some time into furthering his development will have potential for a massive steal on their hands. Give him a look.

Pierce has had eyes on him from the FCS level since this spring, but we haven’t seen any offers come in for him. It could be because teams want to see more from the 6’7″ 285 lbs OT who only has one year of OL play under his belt. Pierce is definitely a raw prospect, but he is an athlete who has been putting in the work. He will come into 2024 15 lbs heavier than he was last year. That will help him play even more overpowering in the run game. That will be impressive to watch because in 2023 the big man was already showing heavy hands and the leg drive to bulldoze DL off the ball in the run game. Weber also looked solid in pass protection mirroring pass rushers and using his elite length to make first contact and control DEs. If he can put together a few good weeks of tape to start the season I think we could see teams at the D2 level or higher start to pull the trigger and offer him. Don’t let this kid sneak up on you this fall.

One of the athletes who caught your eye as soon as they walked in the building was
Pierce Weber

. The junior OT checked in at 6’6″ 289 lbs, and carried it well. Pierce continues to make strides in his comfort at the OT position with his technique, mobility, and flexibility.
The one on one battles is where Pierce got to show off the hard work he is putting in. First key takeaway was that he consistently was showing good hand placement. He got them to the center of his man’s chest and were hard to disengage from. What also stood out was his feet. The big man was able to mirror pass rushers through moves and counter moves. There was even a few reps where he needed to use his feet to recover when he overset and was able to do so and win the rep. The arrow continues to point upwards as the big man builds that continuity between his upper body and lower body.

Another junior who is putting in the work and effort this offseason is Greendale’s OT

. Weber has been going through a position change for the past year, shifting from a primary focus on DL to the OL. Between the junior season tape and the offseason clips it is clear that the technique from Weber is on a steady incline. That has me very excited to see the 6’7″ 285 lbs OT in person to see how comfortable he is looking at the position and how fluid he is in his movements overall. Big things are on the horizon because even as a raw OL prospect Pierce debuted as a top 40 overall prospect and OL12. We should see that trend upwards.

Another impressive big man in the trenches who is sure to go off at camps this summer is Greendale’s

. When we first came across Pierce he was playing DL. Over this past year we have seen the 6’7″ 285 lbs man focus more on the OL and the early returns are exciting. Weber is a very raw prospect, but the talent speaks for itself and is going to show itself this summer at camps. Weber has been working this offseason too, putting out clips showing much improved lower body flexibility so he can play lower and get that leverage advantage. The junior tape shows that the power is there from his feet to his hands. It will be very intriguing to see the strides he has made since the season ended. He could be a huge riser this summer. The big man is starting things off at the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Camp on the 21st of this month. I can’t wait to see him work in person.

I have your 2025 breakout athlete right here. We have Pierce currently ranked as a DL because that is where he has been playing up until 2023. The highlights are now showing him at OL, and the potential is hard to ignore. First and foremost, the massive 6’6” 265 lbs OT has the frame to continue to build on, and the long arms needed to dominate on the edge at the next level. Weber is blessed with athleticism that allows him to be light on his feet, change direction, and close quickly in the run game. The junior also possesses the hands of a heavyweight boxer. His initial punch has proven to be destructive, and he can clamp those hands onto his DL and control him to the whistle. The technical side of his game needs plenty of work this offseason, but the size, strength, and athleticism are hard combos to find, and the Greendale OT looks like he has it.

Stats: 4 Tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 SackrnPierce was a stout force at DE on the Greendale DL in Week 6. Not surprising to see from the massive 6’6″ 265 lbs junior. Pierce showed off the power on the first sack in his highlights. He simply powered right through the gap and onto the QB. Weber also proved to be a sound run defender. He quickly squeezed down the line to chase down RBs. Pierce has also shown good hand use, turning himself into a very well rounded DL prospect with a high ceiling. Big things ahead for the Greendale standout who still has another year of HS football ahead of him.

The biggest athlete in attendance was the Greendale DL. Pierce checked in at 6’6″ 262.5 lbs, and that frame is far from being tapped out. Weber is raw when it comes to the fine details of the position, but the tools for a coach to mold are all there. Long arms, active hands, raw strength, and light feet are going to help him grab the attention of the next level. Coaches want athletes that have what can’t be coached, and Weber has those. I also really liked his motor. Weber got a ton of reps in, and he attacked every rep with his full abilities. He was already a handful to stop, and as his technique/pass rush moves develop his game will only become more of a problem for his opponents.

Pierce is going to be one of the most impressive athletes on the hoof in attendance on Saturday. He is a massive 6’6″ 265 lbs, and that frame doesn’t look close to tapped out yet. Weber should surprise in the athletic testing portion. His speed and range on tape surprised me for a guy his size. I will be laser focused on him in the one on one battles. I want to see where his pass rush moves are at right now. He is a raw prospect, but I have a feeling on Saturday he is going to show a high ceiling.

The 6’6″ 250 lbs DL has the potential to turn himself into a monster if he continues on the path he is on. Pierce is a huge, powerful, athletic DL that is just starting to add the nuanced parts of the position into his game. Pierce has eye catching range and athleticism. He has the speed to chase down plays from behind, and down the field. The motor to match is key as well. Weber has that too. Pierce has also shown to be a slippery block to stick on. He has the ability to slide off blocks with subtle lateral movement and hand use. Watch for Weber to breakout this fall as a junior. Big things ahead.
