Overview:
The regular season and leaves have fallen down over this unprecedented High School Football season in West Michigan. With the leaves falling that can only mean one thing, High School Football Playoffs have commenced. I wanted to provide a good insight for the readers about who to watch out for this upcoming high school football play-offs in West Michigan. I feel there should be more attention paid to these athletes on the west side of the state and deserve the recognition for the contributions to their teams and also their opponents. This list consists of the individuals that I have personally visited and watched over the past three weeks during The home stretch of the football season and also into week one of the high school football season these players have performed at exceptional level that I believe that is deemed to be recognised for their achievements in which consist of the very least them been a conference owners in their perspective divisions in West Michigan.
Players to Watch this Playoffs:
Joey Silveri
Joey
Silveri
6'1" | 200 lbs | QB
Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2022
MI
QB • Jr. • 6’ 1″ • 200 lbs CC #6-
Silveri is the workhouse , the bell cow for the Cougars he controls the peace of the game in the pace of the offense for the cougars. Silveri has great size and a terrific arm in the ability to run the ball in deliver punishment to be in defender. Silveri has the power and strength to run the ball but also the arm strength to throw the ball 60 to 80 yards down the field with the right offensive system around him this individual can develop into one of the best quarterbacks in the country if he is under the right system. There is no doubt in my mind that Silveri well have multiple college offers to play football. Any college program would welcome the special talent and learn to develop him. Silveri has promising potential at the next level. I would only hope the right college coach teaches in the right methods in order for him to succeed because he is an exceptional talent they can be a great college football player.
Elliott Grashuis

Grashuis
6'4" | 165 lbs | WR
South Christian | 2021
State
MI
WR • Sr. • 6’ 4″ • 165 lbs SC #10-
Grashuis Has tremendous length in size to go up and get the ball and that was proven in the first quarter grabbing a 40 yard touchdown out of the defenders hand and for sailors touchdown to grab the moment I’m six tonight then midway through the first quarter against a highly talented team in Catholic Central. Grashuis would make any college program proud with the way he works in the way he runs and makes plays for his team. I would certainly not pass up on this opportunity to grab a receiver with the size and height. His ability to go up to the ball and get it is unmatched. If he puts on a few more pounds of muscle he could become a problem for opposing defences in college. Grashuis has a huge cats radius and pinpoint ability to go up and grab the ball.
Eli Smith WR SR 6’0” 150lbs SC #11-
Smith does it all for the sailors in the receiving game. Smith is very quick and a Wes Walker type receive her as you might say, small but finds a knack to get open and find the ball. Smith is a Dark-horse prospect for myself in the West Michigan area. Eli Smith seems to get open in opportune times and knows how to get open and how to stretch to the defence with a speed and it is incredible smarts for football.
Dylan Ham 5-10 JR 150 #21(Hudsonville Receiver)-
Ham has exceptional speed, A great ability to make place for his team whether it’s returning punch kicks in the receiving game with his incredible speed and ability to go get the deep ball and be elusive whenever he is in the field, a sneaky and upcoming prospect in West Michigan. Many college coaches will find a hidden jem in Ham because of his ability to get open and do whatever it takes to help the team.
