One of a the only Minnesotans that caught my attention in the wide receiver group and one that finished in my top-tier in that group, was Champlin Park 2027 wide receiver

. He was one of the most proficent route-runners I got to see in the wide receiver group as one that also had some of the most sure hands within the entire group. He might not be the biggest wide receiver out there, but the athletic reach that Trace showed off with some of his receptions showed me that this kid can surely play above his measurables with his athleticism. He already has two MIAC and one WIAC offer thus far, and I would surely expect Trace adds more looking ahead into the meat grinder of college camps season.

was a name that kept popping up while I was looking through the top numbers. He is an athlete who went across the board with great numbers, leaving no doubt that he has the speed and quick twitch athleticism needed to play at the next level. The junior posted a 4.70 40, 33.6″ vertical, 7.21 L-Drill, 4.22 shuttle, and 9′ broad jump. No question, Trace is an explosive 2027 to get on campus and to camp this summer. We are sure to see more strong numbers from the MN native.

Fitzgerald, a senior at Champlin Park, shows smooth footwork and consistently pushes vertically out of each route. He varied his releases effectively and routinely sold vertically before snapping inside or out. At the catch point, he remained fundamentally sound and made multiple standout plays during one-on-ones. Fitzgerald’s length helps him win hand battles and high-point passes. He is a competitive prospect with clear playmaking upside.

Fitzgerald played at the tenth grade, JV, and varsity levels during the season. He contributed in all three phases of the game for the Rebels. As a wide receiver, he has good length and great speed. Despite being a long-striding athlete, the sophomore is explosive when he comes out of his breaks. He will also line up at quarterback in Wildcat-type situations. On defense, he can play on the outside as a cover corner. He was 4 for 5 kicking field goals, connected on 25 of 33 PATs, and had five touchbacks.
