If I had to make a selection for the biggest stockriser from start to end on Friday night, my selection would be for Champlin Park’s

. Preston was highly impressive with his arm strength with the off-platform throws he made in his later reps and his precision stuck out aligned well with his arm strength. Preston also stuck out with his dexterity he showed off from the early drills, as it was intriguing to see how much flexibility this 6’3 190 pound quarterback had from top to bottom with his upper and lower body. The tape shows off a fiery quick release and Preston certainly shows off his athleticism with quick releasing speed he has to get out of the pocket and make a play at his disposal. He is certainly one from the NW Metro I will be tracking this summer at camps as a multi-sport athlete as well. Twitter

Thielke blends impressive athleticism with a favorable size that puts defenses on high alert. His scrambling ability sets him apart, fearlessly using his strength to run through defenders, showcasing solid speed and physicality. Thielke’s running ability makes him a dominating dual-threat quarterback, putting defenses immediately in conflict. His deep ball accuracy is a standout quality, consistently placing the ball where only his receivers can make a play and out of the reach of defenders. Thielke maintains accuracy on the run, demonstrating versatility outside the pocket. He can put touch on throws in the red zone, allowing his receivers to make plays in the end zone. Overall, Thielke’s strengths, including his scrambling ability, the threat of tucking the ball and running, his deep ball accuracy, and his red zone dominance, give him the potential to make a tremendous impact on an offense.

Notching in as QB7 and #66 overall on the big board for the c/o 2025, Champlin Park has a talented sophomore class and are led offensively by 6’2, 175 lb. multi-sport athlete Preston Thielke. In his last year as an underclassman Rebel, Thielke went 70-138 for 626 yards and 4 TDs to 8 INTs and was especially dangerous when CP would roll him out in either direction and run multi-level route combinations with their wideouts. Showed solid timing inside and outside the pocket but particularly when on the move, Thielke is a good athlete who can also hurt defenses with his legs when he tucks and runs or changes direction back across the field to improvise more time. With a year of starting varsity experience under his belt I’m hoping to see him expand and develop his game more as a now-upperclassman. Go Rebels!
