Trey Kaplan, Lenape Valley: Kaplan scored on runs of 17 and 60 yards as Lenape Valley improved to 3-0 and shut out Hackettstown, 42-0, Friday night. This was the second 42-point performance in three games for Lenape Valley.
Nasir Hill Nasir Hill 6'1" | DB St. Augustine | 2022 State NJ , St. Augustine: Hill caught TD passes of 36 yards and 26 yards as No. 19 St. Augustine got past Hammonton, 20-7, Friday night.
Dan Merkel, Allentown: Despite a loss to Notre Dame, Merkel became Mercer County’s all-time passing yardage leader Friday night. He threw for 169 yards and three scores, and he finished with 201 yards on 25 carries and two rushing TDs.
Ricky Spruil, Notre Dame: Spruil rushed for 206 yards on 24 carries with four touchdowns, finding the end zone on runs of 11, 14, 33 and 51 yards, as Notre Dame defeated Allentown, 45-34. He also had five receptions for 94 yards.
Derek Graichen, Brearley: Graichen ran for 146 yards on 12 carries with two scores as Brearley (2-1) put up a ton of points in its 56-14 victory over Roselle Park. Brearley is on a two-game winning streak after a season-opening loss to West Essex.
John Brulato, Whippany Park: Brulato scored on a 25-yard punt return and Whippany Park won its first game in nearly three years after topping Sussex Tech, 14-8, Friday night.
Bhayshul Tuten, Paulsboro: Tuten ran for 155 yards on 27 carries and accounted for three touchdowns – two receiving and one rushing – as Paulsboro shut out West Deptford by a 27-0 score Friday night.
Hunter Van Zant, Boonton: Van Zant rushed for a whopping 246 yards on 18 carries with four TDs as Boonton improved to 3-0 and defeated Wallkill Valley, 42-20, Friday night.
Luke Ohea, Raritan: Ohea ran for three touchdowns and had a 60-yard interception return for a score as Raritan improved to 2-1 following Friday night’s 34-12 win over Ocean Township.
Anthony Henriquez Anthony Henriquez 5'10" | LB Hoboken | 2021 State NJ , Hoboken: Henriquez scored on TD runs of 20 and 43 yards and Hoboken cruised to a 48-6 rout of Lincoln Friday night. Henriquez ran for 103 yards on 11 carries with the two scores. He also made 14.5 tackles. Jason Jeannot rushed for 121 yards on 19 carries with two TDs for Hoboken, now 2-1.
Mike Olivo, Ridge: The Red Devil quarterback threw for a TD and ran for four as Ridge defeated No. 13 Union, 37-21, on the road Friday night. Ridge is now 2-1 as it bounced back from a tough loss to Cranford last week.
