has the athleticism to chase down players and move from sideline to sideline in all types of fashion. One of the biggest strengths in Walker’s game was his recognition of plays, how fast he was able to diagnose such plays, and then react to what was going on in front of him. The first-step quickness in both Walkers rush in the blitz and in coverage showed throughout his tape. When it comes to playing against the run, I was impressed with how Walker can dip low, stack & shed, and play with complete leverage at the POA when making tackles on the ball carriers. Walker showed he has playing experience with the Mike, Weak, and Strong side linebacker. Some of Walker’s best plays were adjusting to running QBs in open space and being able to stop them for a meaningless gain. It is proven that when Walker gets to the opponent, he is a secure tackler. That is why Walker ended the season with 105 total tackles, 70 solo tackles, 7 TFL, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Walker will be entering his final year at Rush Henrietta and will be looking to beat his stats from last season.

Walker is a player who had some SOPH tape but missed the cut by just a little for the rankings – I thought he had a strong season for Rush-Henrietta as the heart of the defense for a team that made a huge run in the postseason. Walker is a really good tackler both in traffic in the box and in space – he flashes some closing speed and plays fast due to his ability to find the ball and attack downhill. He showed some instincts, closing down on some screen plays quickly and avoiding blockers.
On the tape, you see a lot of open-field tackling and unblocked play,s but there are limited reps of shedding blocks or man coverage (like most LB tape) I think there is a lot to like on tape, camp season should help answer open field movements in coverage but would like to see some more getting off blocks.

This is an upcoming junior LB from Rush-Henrietta High School that had a very impressive campaign this past season. The pure athleticism to fly around the football field and to get into the backfield to create TFLs really showcased on tape for

. This young man stands in at 6’0” and weighs 200-pounds. The mental awareness to get low and create clean tackles on the ball carriers showed up a lot. The passion and aggressiveness to fire through open lanes is one of the biggest strengths in allowing Walker to be so proficient against the run game. Walker knows how to dip his hips, wrap up in a clean way, and drive his opponent into the turf for a safe tackle. This is a LB that Rush-Henrietta’s defense will be excited to see how he improves his junior season.

in 2022 was insane to see. Walker was a freshman this past season and started off on the junior varsity team for Rush Henrietta High School. Walker was able to play not only on junior varsity but earned some play time at the varsity level as well. Ronin talked about that most of his time on varsity came from the special team’s unit, but he is expected to fill into a much bigger role come 2023. This is a huge force at LB standing in at 6’0” and weighing in at 190-pounds.
The pure ability to be so fluid coming off of his spot in coverage for a player of his age was shocking to see. Walker did an outstanding job at not only being able to get back into coverage quickly but being able to use his athleticism and instincts to jump routes. There is so much speed that flashed in Walker’s game, and it allowed him to make big time plays all over the field.
There is so much elite power, strength, emotion, and willingness to attack every ball carrier with 100% effort. I counted plenty of plays where Walker was able to make a big-time tackle on the ball carrier in space. Against the run, Ronin’s ability to read and react when a play develops was vigorous to see in motion. When it comes to the upcoming season, Walker wants to lead his team in tackles and improve his overall game as a LB to the next step. That next step is doing whatever it takes to help his team win and being the impactful force on defense. With the raw talent and tools that I saw on film, this player can be one special player if he puts in the hard hours to keep improving every day.
