Uweza had one of the faster forty times at the camp, clocking in with a 4.85. He has speed and elusiveness to beat linebackers and he showed it in the 1 on 1 portion of the camp. His speed will get him on the field early in his high school career. Uweza is extremely athletic and appears to run with authority on the field. Expect to hear a lot more out of this Iowa running back. In talking to National Scouting Director Al Pops, Uweza was on the fence about being a National Watchlist prospect for the class of 2027 prior to camp. With what I saw, his times/measurements and everything considered, Pops said Uweza certainly earned a spot on the list after this weekend.

Pratt bring a lot of different qualities to the table as an eighth-grade Running Back. He really blew up to me after I saw him hit a couple nasty juke moves against the linebackers during 1-on-1 drills. At a verified 5-foot-9 and 140-pounds, it was the quickness he displayed that really helped him maneuver around the defender in space. Still runs a little too tall for my liking, but there’s certainly something here. Not to mention the Wisconsin prospect is still growing into his body, and that will bode well for him in high school. He is a name to watch out for in 2027, for sure.
