McClain Miller McClain Miller 6'2" | 220 lbs | RB Northridge | 2024 State IN – Northridge – RB – 6’2″ 210lbs – 2024
Miller is a big and powerful back who has the physical traits to turn into a punishing runner at the next level. He’s tough, physical, and gets better as the game goes on and he gets into a groove. He’s a downhill runner who is going to find his lane, stick his foot in the ground, and head North. Defenders can either move or be moved as Miller is going to try running through them. He runs with a high pad level, sometimes maybe a bit too high which can make him stumble. There are fantastic moments of flash where he’s able to keep his balance and churn out a few tough earned yards when he’s contacted. Miller also feels like a back who could really excel in blitz pickup. His thick and tall frame would allow him to step up and deliver and equally punishing blow. Miller’s 979-yards on the ground with his 11 touchdowns proved to be a fantastic year for the young back. Miller is also a guy I think that could be looked to play FB/TE at the next level. He’s got decent size and speed and if he doesn’t end up playing RB, he could find a valuable role making plays in another fashion. Miller is a physical specimen some school can bring in, develop, and see where he’s at if they wanted. He’s a good athlete and feels versatile.

Isaiah Miller Isaiah Miller 6'4" | 195 lbs | ATH Plainfield | 2024 State IN – Plainfield – WR/TE – 6’4″ 195lbs – 2024
Miller is a match-up problem for opposing defenses that isn’t going to get figured out any time soon. His 6’4″ frame gives him a height advantage over everyone he comes across. He’s got a fantastic vertical and can go up to get the ball. When you throw him a contested ball or a 50/50 ball, it’s really like 80/20 in favor of Miller. He’s going to go up, high-point the ball, and bring it down. He’s got a few catches in his tape where he’s straight up ‘Mossing’ a defender. For his size, he’s got decent speed and can run past some defenders who aren’t expecting a deep ball. I think there’s a real chance he gets looked at as a TE, and if that’s the case, I don’t think it’s an issue for him. He’s versatile, thick, and can catch just about everything. If you can teach him how to block while putting some weight on, he could turn into an elite TE. Miller also has the tools to be dominant in the Redzone. He also has a decent ability to flip his hips and post up and box out a defender if needed to go up for the ball. His frame and potential shows a ton of potential and if he’s able to put it all together, he could be a gem in a small town for the right school.

Auden Jones Auden Jones 6'2" | 300 lbs | OL Penn | 2024 State IN – Penn – OL – 6’3″ 315lbs – 2024
Jones, I felt, had a really good year on tape. All year he played Center and was as reliable as they come up front. The first thing that stood out was his ability to handle a nose. He doesn’t get stressed, short-arm a snap, or bob his head in anticipation. He’s sound at the line and has a quick snap. Jones has very little, if any, wasted movement on his snap. That ball is up and out of there, and accurate, down after down. Jones is then also quick off the ball and thrives when the ball is in motion. He’s more than capable in the running game as he’s able to work solo or with a double team to climb to the next level. He’s able to create leverage and his fairly low stance gives him an edge right off the bat. He’s a real 6’3″ 315lbs and is a decent athlete on top of it. He’s somoene who will really explode in a weight room with the right coach. In terms of passing game work, he’s alright but will need some cleaning up to do. There are times he’ll get caught with his hands on the outside of the pads if they a stunt up front. Overall though, I really like Jones and his tape. He feels like a guy with all the tools, physical and mental, to develop into a phenomenal starter and reliable centerpiece of an offense for years to come.

Nathan Rodgers Nathan Rodgers 5'8" | 170 lbs | WR Carmel | 2024 State IN – Carmel – WR – 5’8″ 170lbs – 2024
Rodgers is going to be an incredibly interesting player to watch this coming fall. In previous years, he’s been delegated to more of a backup/specific role type of guy. His film has shown a bit of flash and heading into his Senior year, the door should open up quite a bit in front of him with studs like Bellin graduating. Rodgers is rather quick off the line and has nice top-end speed. Where he’ll make his money moving forward is creating separation and catching tight window throws. Rodgers is incredibly shifty and can make those snappy looking cuts when he remembers to. While not consistent, he’s shown the development process coming along with the route tree in that regard. The tight window catches are also what he’s shown to be good at. Get the ball in his vicinity and he can react and grab it, even while going to the ground. I’m not talking about contested catches, but those small windows you saw/see guys like Julian Edelman and Hunter Renfrow dominate in this area of the game. Rodgers has also been a willing blocker in the past. He’ll line up and do his job in the running game. I think if he’s able to get a bit stronger it’ll help round out his game. There’s good reason to look at Rodgers and be excited heading into the 2023 season.

Brayden Combs Brayden Combs 5'9" | 170 lbs | DB Lawrenceburg | 2024 State IN – Lawrenceburg – WR/DB – 5’10” 170lbs – 2024
Combs has plenty of experience in all 3 phases of the game as he plays Offense, Defense, and returns some kicks when asked to. He’s willing to go wherever they need him and comes across as somebody who just wants to be on the field any way they can. At WR, he’s not bad. He’s got good ball skills and can be hard to bring down as he can be fairly slippery after the catch. He’s a YAC master and is going to pick up something on top of the reception. Consistency is still in progress but the flashes are there. Defensively, he plays a lot of Corner. They trust him out-wide in plenty of 1-on-1 situations where he holds his own. He’s able to flip his hips and run fairy easily. If he needs it, he’s got fantastic makeup speed and can close ground. He did get his first interception this year as well on a ball where he simply made a good play reading and reacting. Combs is heading into his Senior year coming off of his best year yet by a wide margin and still has 1 more season to showcase what he can do.
