Saine made a tackle on the inside for a short gain. Then, he stuffed an inside run on third and short – preventing a first down. His quick penetration stopped a sweep for a loss. Against the pass, he pressured the quarterback into a rushed and incomplete throw.

Mo Saine Mo Saine 6'5" | 275 lbs | DL Eden Prairie | 2024 State MN may play like he’s insane, but this aggressive style is suited for anyone in the trenches. The Eden Prairie product has a certain aggression to his game that any offensive or defensive line coach knows is practically unteachable, making it all the more valuable. Saine weaponizes his arms with pushes, pulls, and pass rush moves that keep his blockers on their toes. I say ‘blockers’ plurally because more often than not, he draws a double team. Saine’s one track mind for the football is lethal. He bullies his way to the ball, drags the unfortunate carrier down, then stomps his way back to his huddle with an entourage of excited teammates behind him. His passion on the field is infectious, even when watching his film, and this is the kind of guy I would keep my eyes peeled for as a college coach.

Another newcomer to the P5 recruiting ranks who saw his recruitment blow up this fall with an Iowa State offer in September, Eden Prairie has yet another top-end defensive prospect on their hands in 6’5, 275 lb. DL Mo Saine. Kansas, KState, and Arizona State have also added their names to the mix for his talents, and for good reason, as his size, power, and movement skills make him a no-brainer for the always heavily-recruited DT position. He can move OCs, OGs, and OTs backwards like they’re a blocking sled, and does a great job of identifying the play and finding the football while staying gap-sound while working under blocking attempts in zone-blocking schemes. A lot of the time, he’s making big-time tackles five yards behind the LOS when blockers still draped all over him, and the combination of size and strength goes unmatched in MN’s 2024 class. Saine is a tornado-like force in the middle of the Eagles defense and Iowa State made an excellent choice trusting their eyes and getting on board first for the EP DT. This is the last dude I’d want to see in the A-gap next season. More offers are coming!
