Elijah Bonner | Prep Redzone Scout
Kiewiet has been the backbone of Westminster’s offense, showcasing exceptional accuracy and poise under pressure. He completed 125 of 188 passes for an impressive 1,928 yards and 28 touchdowns, all while throwing just five interceptions—a remarkable touchdown-to-interception ratio. Not just a threat through the air, Kiewiet also proved to be a dynamic runner, tallying 627 yards on 89 carries, averaging a notable 7.0 yards per touch, and adding five touchdowns on the ground. His ability to extend plays and consistently find the end zone makes him a nightmare for opposing defenses and a highly sought-after recruit.

Kieweit is a stock riser that was 3rd on the list for passing yards for the 2025 class and topped 1,000 yards rushing being #15. He is a duel-threat QB that has been lighting it up and will look to have another big season. He has the arm strength to make every throw on the field and when the play breaks down can use his pocket presence to climb the pocket or get out on the perimeter and make a play. He will be a QB to keep an eye on this season.

Kiewiet is a player that was remolding himself over the summer and it shows after he was able to bounce back from a disappointing week 0. He has been lighting it up and is leading the state in passing yards, closing in on 1,000. He is a true duel-threat QB being able to escape the pocket when it begins to close or is a threat whenever his team makes it into the redzone. He has been excelling at intermediate passing and has been lighting defenses up. Will be a player to keep an eye on the radar this season.

Kiewiet is a duel threat QB that has a strong arm, being able to push the ball down field or extend plays with his legs. He excels at intermediate to deep passes being able to fit it in-between the safety and corner. When he is flushed out of the pocket he can make things happen with his speed and can make defenders miss. Over the summer he has made it a point to work on his passing and it has shown. He was at camps lighting it up and will look to carry that into this tough week 0 matchup.

Kiewiet is a player that is known as a duel-threat quarterback but he showed great work from the pocket and looked smooth all day. He was able to make good quick decisions and was not holding onto the ball too long. Saw him making the right decision and taking what the defense gave him. He was able to lead receivers well and was reading through his progressions fast when they got further into the day. He will not fly under the radar for long and will be someone to watch moving forward.

Kiewiet is a player that has chemistry with his receivers and is constantly finding them at the right time each time. He has a strong enough arm that he is able to fit it into tight windows when receivers are covered and still gives them a chance to come away with the ball. He does show good touch on his deep passes giving his receiver a chance to fight for the ball or run after the catch. He is a capable runner and shows some speed when he is able to get outside of the pocket, even lowering his shoulder on occasion to get extra yards. Will also get out and make some blocks when he gets a chance. Will be an interesting player to watch this season to see if he is able to get his team above .500 and make a push for the playoffs.

Kiewiet is a naturally good runner and he looks good with the ball in his hands if that be on designed runs or when he decides to pull it down and take off with it. Kiewiet has the most rushing yards and rushing touchdowns on this list with 148 carries for 688 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. In the passing game Kiewiet had 1,578 yards, 14 touchdowns, 13 interceptions and a QB rating of 68.9. Kiewiet will definitely need to work on limiting his turnovers as he also had 9 fumbles with 6 of them being lost as well. Kiewiet has the ability to be a great duel-threat QB and would like to see him focus on that this offseason. Like I previously stated he has great running ability and would be able to use that to open up the passing game as he does well in rollout or play action.

Kiewiet is a new radar pop-up poised to usher in a new era for a rebuilding Westminster program. His athleticism makes him a dangerous runner who can break away from defenses once he makes it past the second level. As a sophomore, he gained the needed experience that has put him on track to have a spotlight-grabbing junior year. Kiewiet will be a player to keep a close eye on as he develops this off-season.
