Expert Analysis
Matt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
Immanuel has done a great job being a consistent downfield threat for a talented Shelby Golden Lions squad throughout his career. Immanuel is a relentless worker at his craft, which is just about as impressive as what he does between the lines on Friday Nights. Immanuel has excellent speed, and shows this not only as a receiver, but also as a returner on special teams. Immanuel’s production has been consistent, and it comes from excellent route running and knowing how to get open against a variety of coverages the Golden Lions see to try and slow down their potent passing attack. Immanuel is starting to get recognition from college football programs as well, picking up his first offer from Gardner-Webb University recently.

Collins continues the trend of smaller receivers physically that can dominate all over the field. In the Golden Lions’ spread offense, it is a great system for the strengths that Collins possesses. Excellent speed, strong hands, and precise routes are the ways that he gets open all over the field on a wide variety of patterns in the route tree. He’s a tough matchup because bigger corners can’t stay with him, and smaller defensive backs don’t have his vertical ability – even with his size, Collins has shown he can high point the football at times. The recruiting interest I think will come, but he’s a dynamic threat defenses have to account for every snap when playing Shelby.

If Collins were 6′, 175 pounds, he’d be in contention for the top overall prospect in the state. Pound-for-pound, he’s that good. He has one of the best releases in the state and can win at the line, at the top of routes, or even at the catch point. Take one look at his highlights, and you’ll see the talent. It’s easy to see how he surpassed 1,000 yards this season, with his combination of speed, route-running, and hands.

was the jet sweep — stick-quick and explosive.
The junior finished with 7 catches for 122 yards and a touchdown, consistently turning short touches into chunk plays. His acceleration and change of direction made him a nightmare in space.
Collins is a problem with the ball in his hands, showing the kind of suddenness and creativity that stresses a defense horizontally and vertically.
The play style? Reminds me a lot of Jimmy Horn Jr. — electric, fearless, and built to flip field position in an instant.

, Shelby’s big-time junior receiver, delivered again last week and has firmly established himself as the go-to threat on the perimeter. He finished with a strong 4 catches for 75 yards, showing reliable hands, crisp route running, and the ability to win in key moments. He’s become the guy in their passing game.
