Mr. Gautcher transitioned from QB to WR and has been DOMINANT so far this season playing up on Varsity. He’s making a case for him to be a legit X receiver that can both win over the top and break defenders off in short/intermediate routes. What stands out the most about this young man is his route running as he can get in/out of his routes quickly breaking defenders off to create separation. Once he does, he can either win over the top on deep shots downfield or can secure sideline grabs off the comeback. This young man’s quickness off the line goes hand in hand here as he can close space quickly on defenders playing in off coverage and stack the defenders quickly when doing so. All in all, this is a young man that has potential as both a QB and as a WR. Right now, he’s a stellar WR so far this season that deserves more looks his way. Twitter
Highlights
Mr. Greene flashes his abilities of being a dual threat QB that can get it done in both offensive attacks. In terms of his mobility, this is his bread and butter. When he runs the option he can get through the line of scrimmage quickly and use his foot quicks to gash opposing defenses with his foot quicks. Once he gets to 2nd level defenders he also flashes his ability to weave in/out making defenders miss in open space. What I’m interested to see more of is his passing skill set as he flashes his ability to add a touch on level two throws putting it right where his receiver can get it. It’s this type of touch that catches my eye and that I’d love to see more of. Twitter
Mr. Swanstrom has been on my radar for some time now and works out of the slot. What stands out the most about this young man is his change of direction to get in/out of his routes quickly without losing a step. This results in him not only breaking defenders off creating separation on the play but also helps him get vertical quickly once he secures the catch – when he does he flashes his ability to break long runs if he gains a step on 2nd level defenders. The same is seen when he runs jet sweeps using his lateral quickness to turn the corner. This skill set is also seen on defense with him working as a cornerback as he can plant his foot & close quickly on passes in front of him. Twitter
Highlights
Mr. Aaron showcases his vision to find running lanes quickly between the tackles and once he does he isn’t afraid to play through contact if need be breaking weak grab tackles in the process. What stands out the most about this young man is his foot quicks to get through the hole quickly and the ability to gain a step on 2nd level defenders. It was a one game highlight so this only gives an insight into where his skill set is currently at, but I’ve had this young man on my radar for some time now and on the JV level I can say he was dominant in breaking long runs for six and weaving in/out of defenders in open space using his elusiveness to do so. With that being said, I’m going to be keeping a close eye on how this young man finishes off the fall season and what his full season highlights entails. Twitter

Mason Smith
Mason Smith
Mr. Smith can work as a rover type of player that can either be lined up in the box or lined up on the slot receiver. This was a one game highlight but the flashes he has here have caught my eye and I’m interested to see how his full season highlights will look like. In his highlights below, he flashes his ability to close quickly to play the alley well. When he does so he was able to blow up the stalk block and secure the open field tackle for a loss on the play on the perimeter. He also was able to flash his ability to jump routes to secure an interception as well. His stat line for this game was the following: 6 tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 INT, and 1 FF – talk about having one heck of a game. All in all, he’s a new name to me this fall season and is one that I’m going to be taking an eye on moving forward. Twitter
