Coweta’s Brock Heilmann Brock Heilmann 5'10" | 188 lbs | RB Coweta | 2027 State OK is another 2027 prospect that we’ve written about from very early on in his high school career. At this point, it feels like Heilmann has been playing for the Tigers for five or six years now but he’s about to enter his senior season. We have a feeling that a lot of Coweta’s opponents will feel the same way when they see Heilmann returning in 2026. He was the go-to weapon for Coweta as they had a huge bounce-back season in 2025. He did a little bit of everything for the Tigers. He was a dynamic runner but could also catch passes out of the backfield. And he also had an impact for Coweta in the return game.

Coweta’s Brock Heilmann Brock Heilmann 5'10" | 188 lbs | RB Coweta | 2027 State OK is another running back that has been playing significant time since his freshman season and has been producing at a very high level. He’s come into this season and has been on an absolute mission and he has the Tigers playing really good football as we head into the playoffs. We watched Heilmann in person once this season and the first time he touched the ball, he took a kickoff back for a touchdown. He’s absolutely electric in the open field and he has put up some monster numbers this season. He’s always produced at a high level but he’s continued to grow and he’s certainly a 2027 RB name to watch this offseason.

Junior running back Brock Heilmann Brock Heilmann 5'10" | 188 lbs | RB Coweta | 2027 State OK is the player we hinted at earlier that is one of the more underrated playmakers in Class 5A this season. Last fall, Heilmann was incredibly productive. He finished with more than 1,500 yards of total offense as a sophomore. Heilmann got plenty of playing time as a freshman but he really had his breakout season last fall. Now, in our opinion, he goes into this season as one of the top running backs to watch in Class 5A. He has legitimate speed and is a physical runner and plays the game with a high IQ. He could put up monster numbers this fall.

Coweta running back Brock Heilmann Brock Heilmann 5'10" | 188 lbs | RB Coweta | 2027 State OK was another name that we knew about before he entered high school. He really impressed us during one of our Prep Redzone Next events during the spring of his 8th grade year. He entered high school and immediately earned playing time on the varsity level and he was able to produce at a very high level, right from the start. Heilmann is continuing to get better and better and that production that we saw early on in his career is continuing to be on the rise. We might have mentioned this in the past but we like the core of Coweta’s roster going into the 2025 season because of the youth they’ve had the last few years. Heilmann is a big part of that and he could be one of the top running backs to watch in Class 5A, not only this fall but looking ahead to the 2026 season as well.

It’s been a tough 2024 season for Coweta as the Tigers are definitely dealing with some growing pains from having a young team. But one of the bright spots has been sophomore running back Brock Heilmann Brock Heilmann 5'10" | 188 lbs | RB Coweta | 2027 State OK as he’s taken his game up a notch this season. Despite the team struggling in the win-loss column, Heilmann has been able to execute at a high level and even has a game earlier this year where he went for over 300 yards. Heilmann is a running back prospect that Coweta coaches have been excited about for a little over a year now. We’re looking forward to seeing his continued progression.

Sophomore running back Brock Heilmann Brock Heilmann 5'10" | 188 lbs | RB Coweta | 2027 State OK was on our radar prior to his freshman season but we weren’t sure just how much he would be used in 2023. Despite Coweta having a senior returning at running back, Heilmann earned significant playing time last season and Coweta’s coaches have been incredibly high on him for over a year now. Heilmann backed up the hype with a freshman season that saw him run for nearly 500 yards and eight touchdowns. And that was with him not as the feature back in this Coweta offense. Heilmann is on our short list of players that could absolutely explode in 2024 with a bigger workload that could lead to more production. 

Similar to Brown at Mustang, Coweta running back Brock Heilmann Brock Heilmann 5'10" | 188 lbs | RB Coweta | 2027 State OK is a name we’ve heard about from their coaches for a while now. And just like Brown, Heilmann has been a guy that has impressed us at our camps in the past. Heilmann got on the field last season as a freshman but it was also limited because he was behind some seniors. Now, Heilmann is definitely a name to keep an eye on as he moves into his sophomore season because he did produce when his number was called last fall. And his touches will surely go up in 2024.
