Tough to make someone like Jven Williams look small in the huddle. [player_tooltip player_id='377054' first='Caleb' last='Brewer'] almost does that. Since his illustrious performance at a PSU camp this past summer, [player_tooltip player_id='377054' first='Caleb' last='Brewer'] has done two things. One, climb the charts amongst FBS boards that recruit in Pennsylvania. Two, lead this incredible offensive line alongside [player_tooltip player_id='127235' first='J'ven' last='Williams'] and Pacen Zeigler, putting Wyomissing at the top of the 3A rankings. Apparently, Brewer is continuing to grow, now self-listed at 6'6, 290 pounds. Makes sense considering how often I speak of them. It's hard not to speak of the group. They show up to our camps and dominate, they work hard in the offseason. Their work has beared fruit on the field. I could pick 6-8 different representatives, I chose [player_tooltip player_id='122662' first='Carson' last='Persing'], considering he's one of the more underrated pass-catchers in the state. The Danville program is seemingly in debt to this kid, as Persing recently came away with his 200th reception in his career, all catches for Danville. You can argue his value is second to none, even with Brown-Stauffer doing what he does. I am hardly surprised at his production when he sends me his tapes, college coaches shouldn't be either. Persing contributes as a proficient to great special teams return man, as well as an excellent all-around pass-catcher who can help ease in young quarterbacks with his understanding of zone defenses. His awareness and experience show on tape, can't say that for many.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /-->

The same goes for junior defensive lineman Charlie Meehleib, a towering edge rusher who has caught my eye in recent weeks. Meehleib's pass-rushing skillset is as raw as they come, yet his size and power off the ball holds value alone. Meehleib can explode off the ball and be trusted to either set the edge and force RBs inside, stand up his opponent, or create penetration when in pursuit of the ball carrier. The junior is recording sacks and pressures, I'm interested in finding out what his ceiling is specifically when pressuring QBs. The young man provides some solid reps on offense and special teams as well, acting as the extra tight end or long snapper in many circumstances.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /-->

Considering this young man's complete package, there's a ton to like, a ton to pick apart too. [player_tooltip player_id='313742' first='Braden' last='Laux']'s midseason tape at Quarterback surprised me. Laux doesn't have tape from previous years, so I'm relatively blind to his skillsets outside of his remarkable height and weight combination. His snaps behind center looked positive. His feet can get better, as can his anticipation, yet there's no doubting the young man's natural arm talent. He's got some torque in his hips that allow him to rocket shots downfield. He's got an understanding of depth perception too, his tape shows he understands when to put touch on the ball. He has a pass up the seam where only his man could get it, he's got a pass to the flat that lofts over a DBs head. He's also willing to run with the football and assert dominance. Plug in the defensive end tape and you come away excited about what Laux provides. He's got experience against RPO action, he's aggressive against the run and pass. He's got a motor too. For college coaches, reps at either position are just icing on the cake.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /-->

Much of the same months later, as we are now in the thick of things. [player_tooltip player_id='377330' first='Tyler' last='Gee'] has looked as advertised by us, a legitimate top-15 quarterback in a loaded quarterback class. Loyalsock's only blemish comes after a defeat to Danville, that's no loss to necessarily worry about. Loyalsock Township is making its name known to those who are unfamiliar, large in part due to [player_tooltip player_id='377330' first='Tyler' last='Gee']'s leadership and efforts behind center. He doesn't look 5'11 in the pocket. He also doesn't look like he can challenge a defense vertically the way he can. Don't judge this kid by his height, we sure won't when ranking time comes around.
