Maverick Ashby Maverick Ashby 5'10" | 190 lbs | ATH/RB Ashland Blazer | 2027 State KY has been on our radar for a while now and continued to impress as a sophomore. On offense, he is a very reliable back out of the backfield. He has the speed to burst through the running lane and break away on long runs at any given moment. When defenders are able to catch up to him, he has shown the elusiveness to make them miss. Ashby finished this past season with 73 carries for 452 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games. He also caught eight passes for 45 yards and made an impact on defense at corner, finishing his sophomore year with 41 tackles and five tackles for loss. Ashby currently holds offers from Yale, North Alabama, and Morehead Stats, and I expect more to come his way over the next two seasons.
