Stats: 14/18, 114 Yards, 1 TD, 11 Carries, 76 Yards, 1 TD
Caiden took over at QB after halftime, and he was able to move the offense up and down the field. As a passer, the senior was accurate. He primarily focused on the quick passing game and hitting short to intermediate routes where he could get the ball out and into the hands of his playmakers. Caiden is far from a pocket passer, though. The kid can do damage with his legs. Both designed and on the fly, Caiden was able to get outside of the containment of the defense and shake defenders 1 on 1 in the open field. The dual threat senior also spent time this season putting together strong numbers as a WR. He is uncommitted, versatile, and athletic. Check him out.

. The 6’2″ 180 lbs ’26 is an experienced signal caller. Caiden has the arm to be easily push the ball 35+ yards downfield without having to lob a lot of air under the ball. He can keep it on a low trajectory and get it there with pretty effective velocity. The kid is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. You will see on tape how he finds a way to make things happen, whether it be a wild arm angle or platform to throw off or making plays with his legs. Speaking of that, Caiden is able to win with speed on the ground, but also run hard and be surprisingly elusive in tight quarters. I’m hoping we see a strong summer from the talented 2026 QB.

Ranking Movement: #128 to #81
This Waterford offense has a wide array of athletes at its disposal. Members of the OL, RBs, and a WR have all stood out this offseason and they look like they are set for big years. However, none of that happens without a talented athlete at the helm leading the way. It looks like they have that in Caiden Dessert. The 6’2″ 180 lbs QB is a dual threat prospect who put up nearly 1,000 yards of total offense in 3 games of action in 2023. Through the air, Caiden is an accurate passer from the pocket or on the run. The mechanics and footwork are both crisp, and that leads to reliable accuracy to every level of the field. The arm strength is solid too, and I think we could see that continue to improve over the coming years to really round out his arm talent. On the ground it almost catches you off guard seeing how quickly the 6’2″ 180 lbs athlete can accelerate when he decides to tuck it away. He has excellent top end speed to do damage and has good instincts with the ball in his hands as a runner. I think we see a monster year from the 2026 QB this fall.
