Recruitment has been steady since the start of the year now holding five offers including D1 programs Southern Mississippi, Western Kentucky, and most recently Sacramento State. 5’11” 175 lbs. he’s a great cover corner using fluid athleticism and clean footwork. Shows good all-around speed and movement skills for the position flashing good burst in the short area, smooth change of direction, and the long speed to cover vertically. He’s instinctual in coverage displaying good route recognition and anticipation to make early breaks on the football. Great ability to stay in phase and recover to minimize separation and disrupt throwing lanes. Plays through the hands at the catch point and doesn’t give up any easy receptions forcing the receiver to make a tough play.

Ewing has picked up his first 3 offers from Southern Miss, Western Kentucky, and Sac State. He’s a lock down CB that needs to be considered one of the best CB’s in the state, as he had 0 TD’s allowed last year and frequently showcased that ball hawk ability. Disciplined eyes with the ability to track and stay on opponents hips with good hand placement. Good recovery speed to turn and burn downfield vertically with receivers and he does a good job knowing when to get his head around. Excellent twitch and explosive transition to eat up ground quickly when breaking on the ball.

Recruitment is picking up for the DB out of Pinnacle after receiving his first two D1 offers from Southern Mississippi and Western Kentucky just this week. At 5’11” 175 lbs. he’s a fluid athlete that is smooth in his pedal and transition. Shows good technique and footwork throughout the play being efficient with his movement and limiting wasted steps. Great route recognition skills and recovery speed allow him to stay in phase to all three levels. Like his ability to run the route with the receiver and stay attached to the hip to minimize separation. Plays with good pad level to quickly change directions and accelerate coming out of his break to close space with the ball in the air. Great ability to plant and drive on the football. Excellent cover corner that will continue to see D1 offers roll in.
