Rushing has seen his recruitment on the rise as of late with offers coming in from Utah and Wofford. The 6’1” 170 lb. WR has continued to grow into his frame while building on his speed and technical ability. Brings a competitive edge and advanced polish to the position constantly working to stress defenders and create mismatches across all levels of the field. Detail oriented route runner that is precise and efficient using tempo changes, sharp breaks, and sudden movement to create space. Shows excellent bend and fluidity in and out of his cuts, maintaining speed through transitions to separate cleanly. Strong at the catch point displaying natural ball skills and the toughness to win in traffic. Great ability to attack the ball in the air and compete at the high point. A rapid rising prospect whose combination of technique, competitiveness, and playmaking ability will continue to turn heads. Expect to see his ranking on the rise in the future.

A lot to like about Rushing’s skillset and demeanor. Constantly attacking as a WR to apply pressure to DB’s in coverage and be a threat to all areas of the field. He’s a technical route runner that mixes up speed and sells his routes hard to gain leverage/separation. Does a good job dropping his hip level to get in and out of his cuts and comes out with speed. High level competitor with great ball skills. He’s a QB friendly target with his ability to go get it in the air. Doesn’t wait for it and goes up to play it at the high point. Had an great showing at the ASU 7on7 and will see increased attention as he showcases the skillset on the field.

plays like he’s 6’3″ and 200. It’s partly his athleticism — he can elevate with the best of them and has excellent body control once he’s in the air. But more than that, it’s his mindset. He plays angry — in the best possible way. Every route he runs is full speed, every target is attacked like it’s his last, and every jump ball feels like a 50/50 in name only. He’s got that edge to him, where even if he’s not the biggest, he still sets the tone. It reminds me a lot of how people describe Isiah Pacheco from the Chiefs — just aggressive, relentless effort with every single thing he does. That’s how Rushing moves, how he runs his routes, and how he goes after the football. You can tell he’s a competitor through and through, and it’s that full-tilt approach that makes him stand out, even in a field full of more physically imposing guys. He’s the type of player who raises eyebrows the longer you watch him.

Rushing plays with a kind of smoothness that’s hard to coach — he just glides across the field. Whether he’s working out of the slot or lined up wide, there’s a real fluidity to how he moves. What really jumps out is how composed he stays when DBs try to get physical with him at the line. Instead of getting knocked off his route, he fights through it with great hand work and keeps his timing sharp. His release is quick and deliberate, and he’s got that rare ability to stop on a dime and snap into a break without losing any speed. The hands are no joke, either. When the ball hits him, it’s like it just sticks — no double catches, no bobbles, just clean snags with strong, well-placed hands. That kind of consistency is what sets apart good receivers from great ones, especially at his age. He’s making himself quarterback-friendly with how reliably he separates and finishes plays. There’s a natural polish to his game already, and as he continues to grow physically and stack reps, he’s going to be a name that pops up more and more. Definitely one to keep an eye on heading into the fall.

A plus athlete with good upside and potential as he progresses. At 6’1” 160 lbs. he’s got good length (73 inch wingspan) and can attack the field at all three levels. He’s an advanced route runner that keeps defenders guessing by changing tempo and levels throughout his routes/releases to create separation. Can get in/out of his breaks by dropping his hip level and using his start/stop speed to accelerate out at the top. Strong ball skills, he shows good body control and athleticism to adjust/track the ball and bring in tough receptions in traffic or over the top. Strong bloodlines with both older brothers playing at the P4 level and being top recruits in their classes.

is another big play threat out on the edge of the field–on both sides of the ball. The 5’10 Tucson native athlete is a force to be reckoned with when he puts those pads on. Which shouldn’t come as a surprise when looking at his family tree. He’s the youngest son of former Florida Gator Tight End, George Rushing. His oldest brother, Cruz, is currently a Safety at Arizona. The middle brother,

, is currently ranked the No.1 Defensive End and No.2 overall 2024 prospect in Arizona per our rankings. Little brother has a chance to be the best of all three. He is a smooth runner who can break away from most corners and can blow the top off of coverages. Another part of David’s game that impresses me is ability to work through traffic with the ball in his hands. If he has to work through the middle of the field, he does it with ease. On the defensive side of the ball, he has really impressive length that overwhelms receivers trying to get open. He’s grown two inches since last summer and there’s no signs of that growth stopping at this point. He’s going to be a good one.
