Gennicks has been establishing himself as one of the better defenders in the state, and is always flying around making plays outside the tackles and is a high motor and violent kid. Playing in the first round of the 6-A playoffs, he was all over the field and put up some impressive numbers. He finished with 10 tackles, 1 sack and was able to provide a nice pass rush and consistent tackling abilities in the run game. He should find his home at inside or outside linebacker in college due to his length and cover abilities. Gennicks is a no brainer D-III+ caliber kid.

Gennicks is another under the radar LB prospect that has the size and ability to pop this season. At 6’3” 200 lbs. he’s a rangy three down LB that plays sideline to sideline. He’s got good length and room to add weight to his frame without sacrificing his athleticism and mobility. He’s violent at the POA driving through contact on every tackle with good hip explosion and leverage. Plus anticipation and reactionary quickness to read run/pass and close space on the ball in a hurry. In three games this season, he’s racked up 22 total tackles and three TFL’s. Possesses a ton of upside and potential to build on. Watch his recruiting take off as he develops and is able to showcase his skillset.
