Another prospect apt at pushing the ball upfield was Anthony Caratelli. Caratelli launched an absolute beauty of a ball that landed in his target’s bread basket in route to a scoring strike.

Caratelli is an elite signal caller, who shows good footwork, and has the ability to read a defense before the snap and blueprint the play in a few seconds. He has a slimmer frame for a QB, but has added weight and muscle as of late. His arm strength and placement are beautiful, and his ability to get the ball to his receivers, and to place the ball where only his guys can get it, makes him elite. He is a good runner, and can use his legs to escape pressure and create plays with his legs. Caratelli has split reps, leading to a lack lot recruitment which should change this season, as colleges should take notice. His grade gives him a Low D1 FCS-D2 projection which could see schools racing to the phones.

Now we move onto my favorite position! I really like Caratelli’s velocity. He’s still able to mix up his fastball with some touch, and flashes some nice mobility. He shows awesome anticipation in the pocket, and consistently keeps his eyes downfield even while moving around in the pocket. He’s super comfortable attacking outside the numbers and deep down the field. I’m not sure he’s 5’11, I think he may be a bit shorter-but he’s still got some time to grow and put more weight on. A few more inches would do wonders for him. Nitpicking aside-he’s a legit player and a fun watch.

Lastly in Part two is New York Hustle QB Anthony Caratelli Anthony Caratelli 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB/ATH Eagle Academy II | 2027 State NY . The Eagle Academy prospect split reps with another QB who will be featured in Part Three. Caratelli, showcased a strong arm, with the ability ti hit the corners of the end zone on his throws. I like his ability to put the ball in the pocket for his playmakers, and allowing them to come down with the ball. Across the middle, he hit multiple players, and was exceptional with space, tossing quick strikes to receivers in sitting in open space.

Next up is another transfer QB in Anthony Caratelli Anthony Caratelli 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB/ATH Eagle Academy II | 2027 State NY . Caratelli will make the move from Curtis to Eagle Academy BK for his Senior Season. Standing at 5’11” 155-Pounds, Caratelli should look to reach the 170-Pound mark to help fill out his frame during his final season.

Caratelli is a true dual-threat QB, he is a quick athlete, who can use his legs in Option Schemes, and RPO plays. I like his IQ, and he displays a quick release, paired with outstanding accuracy, allowing him to make quick strikes against zone defenses. He displays a strong arm as well, and works well ousted the pocket, displays good footwork through throws on the run. Caratelli is just another weapon Eagle Academy will get to use this season.

Lastly is Anthony Caratelli Anthony Caratelli 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB/ATH Eagle Academy II | 2027 State NY . The Senior QB, is making the move from Curtis to Eagle Academy this season, and is looking to make a major impact on a team that can easily win the PSAL.

Standing at 5’11” 155-Pounds, displaying a smaller frame for a QB. The QB suited up for Hustle New York, and had an impressive weekend. I was impressed with his arm talent, and his ability to launch the ball down the field. His footwork on the run and in rollouts, was exceptional, and his ability to toss the ball into tight windows accurately was impressive. Caratelli can easily be a breakout QB this season, and I have high hopes for the Senior.

A very confident QB here with Anthony Caratelli Anthony Caratelli 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB/ATH Eagle Academy II | 2027 State NY , in whom his pure pass skills jump off the tape. By and large, his ability to move defenders with his eyes and motion stands out. Caratelli displays strong field vision, consistently identifying open targets across all levels of the field. His ball placement allows receivers to make plays in stride. Furthermore, Caratelli has great pocket mobility and comes off the snap with clean footwork. Throws outside the pocket and on the run for big plays were a highlight of achievement for this young man.
