<p class="p1"><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">In the 2021 Houston high football season I’ve seen a lot of great teams, games and athletes. Out of all the games I been to this football season I’ll be naming the top athletes in each position. Based off the teams and games I’ve seen these are the top Houston area high school wide receivers.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s3">Atascocita Eagles #1 [player_tooltip player_id="259868" first="Chase" last="Sowell"] WR Sr 6’3 195 lbs</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">[player_tooltip player_id="259868" first="Chase" last="Sowell"] is a great and reliable wide receiver he was able to catch almost every pass thrown to him. Chase is tall and speedy using his speed to beat out the defender in front and get open for passes. Chase is also strong and resilient being really difficult to tackle and bring down. Chase is a college prospect having five offers from Sam Houston State University, University of Northern Iowa, Howard Payne University, University of Colorado and University of Texas San Antonio. Chase’s overall stats this season was 72 receptions, 1,378 reception yards and scored 16 touchdowns. </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s3">Ridge Point Panthers #8 Marvin Session WR, TE Sr 6’2 195 lbs</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Marvin Session has a lot of great qualities for a wide receiver. Marvin is fast, tall, great footwork and long legs with a long strive. Marvin also had great hands able to catch and contest any pass that came his way. Marvin was definitely the receiver to look out for on The Ridge Point Panthers roster. Marvin is a college prospect having five college offers Salt Rivers Junior College, East Texas Baptist University, Lawrence Technical University, University of Arkansas-Monticello and University of Texas Permian Basin. Marvin’s overall stats this season was 46 receptions, 907 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s3">Cinco Ranch Cougars #3 Seth Salverino WR Jr 6’1 185 lbs</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Seth Salverino was a wide receiver on a run heavy offense with The Cinco Ranch Cougars. However, Seth was still able to standout. Seth is extremely fast and had great hands. Even though, Seth was not the biggest or tallest wide receiver he was still very persistent and tenacious. Seth wouldn’t make it easy for defenders to bring him down and fought for every single yard he can get. Seth was also great as a kickoff returner he only returned the ball three times and each time Seth scored. Seth’s overall stats this season was 47 receptions, 1,034 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s3">Woodlands Highlanders #6 Ben Ferguson WR, LS Sr 6’0 180 lbs</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s2">Ben Ferguson was a reliable and great wide receiver. Ben had adequate speed and commendable catching skills. Ben had a great built and is sturdy making him difficult to tackle and bring down. Overall Ben was an outstanding athlete. Ben is a college prospect having numerous of college offers from;<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>University of Mount Union, Furman University, Saint Anselm College, Howard Payne University, Air Force Academy, Trinity University and many others. Ben’s overall stats this season was 40 receptions, 917 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. </span></p>
