Most notably, we saw that as Michigan demolished Ohio State in the big house much because of the Wolverine Defensive Line bullying the Ohio State offensive line. So now, here are the #5 – #10 defensive linemen in the C/O 2024!
#5 Anthony Wright Anthony Wright 6'0" | 285 lbs | DL Chippewa Valley | 2024 State MI (#42 overall)
Wright is an animal on both sides of the ball, especially defensively. Chippewa Valley is stacked with incredible talent and Wright can stop the run and rush the passer well. Most notably, Wright attended the Rising Stars camp and was named a top defensive lineman. Wright’s ceiling is very high.
#6 Magnuson Lars Lott Magnuson Lars Lott 6'0" | 220 lbs | DL Rochester Adams | 2024 MI (#46 overall)
Lars Lott is an amazing defensive lineman that follows some great talent coming out of Detroit Jesuit. He’s explosive and obviously very dedicated to his craft at 6’0″ 220lbs. He’s obviously extremely strong, but his finesse moves are elite. He reminds me much of Muragin from De La Salle, and with plenty of sharpening of his craft, he can be a great D1 prospect.
Had an awesome visit yesterday at Toledo, might have been cold but we had a great experience and I’m looking forward to coming back. Thank you @CoachCandle @Coach_Staten @CoachBichey @RickyCicconeUT for a great time, Go Rockets! pic.twitter.com/OdFWNptugi

#7 Collin Sturgeon Collin Sturgeon 6'1" | 240 lbs | DL Chippewa Valley | 2024 State MI (#57 overall)
Another Chippewa Valley guy, Sturgeon offers a nice balance of speed and power. He’s able to straight-up shove guys out of the way, as well as use his speed to win some blocks. He attended the Rising Starts camp, which is no fall feat being invited. Overall, he’s a great athlete that will be very interesting to watch over the next year.
#8 Marquise White Marquise White DL Detroit Martin Luther King | 2024 State MI (#61 overall)
With some great flashes throughout the season including in the State Championship, Marquise White Marquise White DL Detroit Martin Luther King | 2024 State MI may explode onto the scene next season. He started as a Sophomore at Detroit King, which is no small feat. At 6’1″ 225, it’s obvious that he’s put in a ton of work in the weight room. White is at a very good spot at #8 right now, and will move up if he performs well next season.

#9 Evin Fencil Evin Fencil 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL Dearborn | 2024 State MI (#62 overall)
A speedy defensive end, Fencil played great for Dearborn this past season. He’s just 180 pounds, but the 4.7 40-time tells the full story. His speed moves are great, and his IQ is extremely high. With enough work, I believe Fencil’s ceiling is quite high. For that, I would like to see more from the weight room.
#10 Hunter Belanger Hunter Belanger 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Grosse Pointe South | 2024 MI (#88 overall)
Belanger is a great run-stopping lineman who is also incredible on the Baseball Diamond. At 6’3″ 250lbs, he’s able to line up on the end and use his incredible power to move offensive linemen and stop the run. He’s impossible to move and he has great instincts which make him someone to work around when calling plays. Very interested to see how he can improve his game come 2022.
