Holy Trinity ran the gauntlet and ended their perfect season 10-0, proving that speed kills. The Championship season was a coming-out party for several young stars, but it also helped spotlight several players under the radar before the season. Finally, I was able able to catch the speed in action, and I came away pleasantly surprised.
The first player that flashed in front of my face was the ’’ Holy Trinity Hulk’’ Senior RB [player_tooltip player_id="227887" first="Kameron" last="Robbins"].

The 6 foot muscular back made smooth cuts and broke through attempted tackles all game long. Robbins also showed speed to pull away as he was unstoppable all game. Leading the blocking for [player_tooltip player_id="227887" first="Kameron" last="Robbins"] was Junior Left Tackle [player_tooltip player_id="233625" first="Irvin" last="Briggs IV"]. The athletic lineman has a massive frame and carries his weight well. He served pancakes while also sealing the edge for Robinson and the rest of Holy Trinity’s burners.
On defense, Holy Trinity has one of the best Junior edge prospects in [player_tooltip player_id="233586" first="Christopher" last="Bacon"]. The former QB has excellent length and incredible burst. He displayed his explosiveness and violence by blowing up a wall on the opening kickoff. The linebacker core is young, deep, and talented. Sophomore LB [player_tooltip player_id="253487" first="Jameer" last="Reeder"] is the real deal and shows incredible instincts when tracking. Another talented Sophomore is LB [player_tooltip player_id="253479" first="Nick" last="Parisi"], who has a bigger body and plays downhill, closing space fast. Junior [player_tooltip player_id="236388" first="Melan" last="Williams"] is rounding out the LB core, who is solid in coverage and an ideal overhang type of player. Another LB to watch for next season is Sophmore [player_tooltip player_id="253486" first="Camden" last="Bloom"]. Veteran Senior [player_tooltip player_id="252018" first="Cassius" last="Johnson"] was a speedy jack of all trades and made plays on every level of the defense.
Quarterbacks [player_tooltip player_id="236427" first="Zion" last="Woodhull Trippett"] (Junior) and [player_tooltip player_id="241154" first="Rocco" last="Rainone"] (Sophomore) had plenty of weapons all season because Holy Trinity is rich in speed with the Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs. Starting with Junior [player_tooltip player_id="233589" first="Dylan" last="Braithwaite"] who was clocked at 23.56 mph at the Armory Combine. He is a crisp route runner who can instantly take the top off a defense. Junior [player_tooltip player_id="235865" first="Andre" last="Kirton"] is another dangerous Junior as he is an LB nightmare lining up in the slot and gets to the edge instantly on Jet Sweeps. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id="241127" first="Josiah" last="Brown"] is in line to be an elite prospect in the state. At 6’1, he ran 22.18 mph at the Armory Combine, but besides the speed, he is a true eraser at Free Safety, and when he touches the ball, you better be on TD alert.
