He controls the middle of the Cadets' defense, and in his "first three-game highlights," he consistently limits yards after contact with his strong tackling. Athletic, Butler flows smoothly sideline-to-sideline and closes ground quickly in pursuit. Very physical and comes downhill with bad intentions. Sets the tone, which is impressive for a player his age. I saw him a couple of weeks ago against Imhotep Charter in Philly, and he intercepted two passes. The first one stopped an Imhotep deep drive, and the other one sealed the game. Brown is currently committed to Furman, but at this rate, I have to believe some FBS schools will take an even closer look in the next few weeks. I saw him against Bishop McDevitt in Good Counsel's first game of the season, and he is 6-foot-5. Honestly speaking, I think he's going to play himself into that No. 1 wide receiver spot in the rankings and crack the overall Top 10. The physical advantage is a given. But his long strides that eat up the cushion of defensive backs, speed off the ball, solid route-running, and ability to snag the football out of the air effortlessly make him an elite target. He has to be the hardest cover in the DMV, and the smart move is to double him over the top. Good Counsel should keep feeding him the football. Whether it's against the run or reacting as a pass defender, he truly explodes on his first step and closes down on ball carriers swiftly. Woodard is a true sideline-to-sideline backer and often beats blockers to the spot. A few pass plays show he is more than comfortable dropping into zone coverage. A skilled defensive back at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds is always going to be intriguing. He's a high-level safety prospect with the cover skills of a cornerback (he's shown playing both positions in his highlights). He's solid against the run and makes the sure tackle. I liked what I saw in pass coverage; a few pass breakups were in the mix. Looking forward to seeing the final product. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
