Week 1 is behind us, and today, we're taking a look at a group of underclassmen who had good Week 1s and seem to be on their way to having big falls.

Cunningham was all over the field in week one and found ways to make an impact on offense and special teams. He had a big kickoff return that helped flip the field, then showed what he could do as a receiver with a touchdown up the right side. He beat his man off the line, created the space he needed, and glided into the end zone for the score. The game ended up going to double overtime, and Cunningham made some big plays throughout the night to help them pull out the win. I liked the versatility he showed and how he seemed to pop up whenever they needed a play.

Mount was vital out of the slot and seemed to come through whenever the offense needed him. He kept drives alive, gave his quarterback a reliable target, and delivered whether it was in the quick game or on a shot down the field. He had a nice touchdown where he found the soft spot in the defense, made a man miss after the catch, and worked his way into the end zone. I also liked the effort he showed as a blocker in the running game. He's a good rising young player who showed he can impact the offense even when the ball isn't coming his way.

Ray didn't waste much time showing what he could do in his first high school game. He's a dynamic back with a good frame and the big-play ability to turn a crease into six in a hurry. He also looked comfortable catching the ball out of the backfield, too. He finished the night with 136 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 2 catches through the air. That's about as good of a high school debut as you can ask for from a freshman. I'd assume he'll be on a lot more radars moving forward and should be a name to watch over the next few years in the 2030 class.

Rice made plays in all 3 phases of the game on Friday and showed how versatile and smart of a player he is. It's not often guys can return kicks, stretch the field offensively, and then play DB on defense. He seemingly never came off the field. He also had a big kickoff return where he broke a few tackles, bounced it outside, and gave the offense great field position. He then got reps on the defensive side and added a PBU to his total for the week. Rice is just a good ball player who can do a little bit of everything and seems comfortable doing whatever's asked of him.

Bailey is a dynamic playmaker who can make plays anytime he touches the ball. He's a good kick returner with the vision and speed to find a crease and flip the field in a hurry. They also got creative with him on offense, giving him a Wildcat snap that he bounced outside and took 50 yards for a touchdown. He also had a 42-yard receiving TD to add to his total on the night. He's the type of athlete you just find ways to get the ball to and let him go make something happen.
