His scholarship offer list features top programs from across the country. They include national champion Indiana, Penn State, Texas A&amp;M, Tennessee, Florida and Florida State. The Madrid junior is an unusually gifted athlete that also dominates on the basketball court. While there would be a future playing that sport in college, the upside on the gridiron is through the roof. Severson can run, jump and is agile. His 6-foot-5 frame comfortably holds his 230 pounds with room for growth while holding the traits that already make him special. He's a match-up nightmare in the passing game, too big for smaller defenders and too fast for the bigger ones. Nothing has changed in that regard, and the talented St. Albert junior checked is as the No. 36 overall player and second-ranked tight end in the recent Prep Redzone Iowa Class of 2028 rankings update. Spencer is a physically advanced athlete with the potential to grow into a multi-faceted prospect for the next level at the position. He caught six passes for 72 yards with four of those grabs resulting in touchdowns last year. There's also a path to stardom on defense. Seven of his 15.0 tackles were solo stops. He had a pair of tackles for loss. His <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18340821/690fafdc90223eab69d3d30e">10th-grade highlight video</a> impresses. From the H-Back spot, Spencer creates matchup problems with his size and speed. He's tough to take down when he gets a head of steam rolling and is a favorable target in the red zone. Things have taken off a bit from there. South Dakota State, Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois have reportedly offered scholarships. He'll be at Iowa for a game again next month, and Iowa State, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota and others have invited him to games. Like his father, Clark possesses an attractive mix of size and athleticism to impact games as a tight end. The frame is projectable, capable of adding good weight while holding agility and speed. It's a package of traits that also work well on defense. He also was credited with 15 pancake blocks, illustrating his abilities as a well-rounded performer at the position. His blocking aided a Cobra rushing attack that produced 2,207 yards (5.8 YPC) and 32 scores. Sellers also chipped in on defense. His projectable frame is capable of adding plenty of good weight and strength. It's a skill set that could work on either side of the ball. The athleticism that helped him contribute as a member of the varsity basketball team, shines through. He's a huge target in the passing game, looking smooth as a route runner and agile in competing for the ball.
