Indiana University held their first of several prospect camps at Memorial Stadium on Tuesday. We were in attendance and saw an in-person look at many prospects, some of whom walked away with offers from the defending national champions. Here is our list of top performers from the event.

In-state Class of 2029 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1854169' first='Carson' last='Sloan'] is making a strong argument for being the No. 1 ranked player in his class. Sloan has a very high motor as a pass rusher, takes great angles to the QB and has a frame the Indiana staff would want at his position. The sky is the limit on his potential and what he brings to the table as a recruit.

Hobart cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='1308724' first='Bryce' last='Tolliver'] recorded a pass breakup in the skelly portion of yesterday's camp. Tolliver is very good at turning back to the ball and making interceptions, has good instincts and catches with his hands. Tolliver has also played receiver which could be his fit at the next level. Clocked a 4.69 40-time.

Wesley Summerset really shined at the camp with his athleticism, especially in coverage during the skelly drill where he recorded multiple pass breakups and was tough to beat in coverage. On tape, Summersett is a solid blitzer who can pressure the QB and takes good pursuit angles. He is a good block shedder who can shed at the corner, wrap up, and make open-field tackles. He recorded 65 total tackles and three forced fumbles last year with one interception.

College teams are enamored by East Noble linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1881519' first='Austin' last='Phillips'], who registered multiple pass breakups at the camp. Smith is a very talented linebacker with great closing speed, top-shelf instincts and strong in both coverage and against the run. He stood out in the individual period and left a strong impression on the Indiana staff. Checked in at 6'1.5" and clocked a 4.65 40-time.

The Indiana staff has an early eye on Fishers tight end Max Hopkins. The Class of 2029 recruit checked in at 6'6.5, 234, and timed a 5.01 in the 40. He had one of the bigger wingspans among those registered at 82 ¼ from his fingertips. Hopkins flashed being shifty in the one-on-one tag drills; he is still raw and needs to get varsity reps, but he should develop into one of the state's top-end prospects this fall.
