Tolliver is a strong and physical cover corner who can play press, jam at the LOS and be physical with receivers. He comes out of a backpedal smoothly and can make tackles v. the run. Good route runner on offense as a receiver who can create separation, and has juice after the catch. I saw him in-person at the Indiana camp last week and really like his athletic ability, high-impact on his high school team, and strength and speed.

Cornerback for Hobart committed to Northern Illinois. At 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, he has the tools. Tough cover corner who is also a stout run defender who can bust up screens.

Tolliver is very good at turning back to the ball and making interceptions, has good instincts and catches with his hands. Tolliver has also played receiver which could be his fit at the next level. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound long and rangy cornerback for Hobart breaks on the ball effectively and flashes great closing speed. Tolliver can also bust up screens and make big tackles against the run. Tall, strong and versatile, he has the athleticism to also be a legitimate deep-play threat at receiver. Holds offers from Northern Illinois and Gardner-Webb; I would expect more to come his way during the contact period.

Physical cover corner with a high competitive nature. Showed he can jam and be physical with receivers at the camp. Very instinctive player who can exchange coverage responsibilities and make plays on the ball. Can stay in phase and time the ball without getting flagged. High ceiling.

Tolliver is a very intriguing prospect. At 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, he possesses the frame and arm length to be a top prospect in the Class of 2027. He is a high-impact player for the Brickies who can break on the ball, stay in-phase, and snag interceptions with ease. Hobart opens up against Lowell in the first round.

Tolliver is in his breakout season and proving to be a fairly valuable defensive asset. While he primarily had an offensive background, they threw him on the field defensively and it was a good decision. He sees the field well and doesn’t get baited on double moves. Friday night they had him roaming the 2nd and 3rd levels. With his speed that was a great idea because he finished the night with 7 tackles and an interception. While they fell short, Tolliver is developing with the live bullets flying.

Tolliver is a speedy player who has the potential to make plays on both sides of the ball. His acceleration is top-notch and he’s got no issue outrunning just about everyone he comes across. While he does have great speed, he’s a bit raw in his route running and the little nuances of playing receiver downfield. As he plays and gets on the field, I anticipate he will pick up on them and round out his game. He’s young and checks boxes, so it’ll be up to him to put it all together on the field.
