It is rare to see Oregon come to Pennsylvania to recruit and get a commitment, but Lockley is worth it. Lockley is an absolute stud of a linebacker in the 2027 class. His pass-rush moves are good as well. He uses his strength and his athleticism to make moves against offensive linemen. Wright is a talented edge defender who recently picked up an offer from Georgia State. He is the rare athlete with great size (6'4") and athleticism. He gets off the ball extremely quickly. His ability to fire off the ball is impressive, as he times up the snap count well. Then, when he engages with an offensive lineman, he shows an excellent ability to get around them to make plays. An example is that he has a good spin move he uses to set up the offensive lineman by going one way and then flipping his body the other way. He is excellent at attacking offenses from his stand-up edge position. He fires off the ball at a high level and uses his athleticism to be disruptive against opposing offenses. Because he is so athletic and he has good size (6'3"), offenses struggle getting their hands on him and blocking him. The other impressive part of his film is how he can play in space. He can drop in coverage and cover receivers as well. McFadden is an impressive linebacker prospect in the 2027 class.
