On Saturday, May 16, Prep Redzone New Jersey was back in action in Jackson, New Jersey to host their 2026 Exposure Series. A small event, every prospect had more than enough reps to show their talent, call attention to themselves, and perform.

As usual, the first measure of a prospect is to the naked eye. Below are a list of prospects who passed my eye test. In my estimation, these prospects appear physically ready to hold their own on a collegiate football field if they were to step on it today.

One of only quarterbacks to participate in this event was Drew Ellis. Still just in the 7th grade, Ellis got a lot of work in with bigger, faster, and strong prospects. I thought that Ellis had a quick release. It seemed as though his throws were a bit sharper in the middle of the field, rather than the boundary, has slants/ins/zigs/Texas routes all led his receivers upfield. When throwing upfield and toward the boundaries, Ellis' passes tended to tail back toward the middle of the field a bit too much.

This event's other quarterback, Nicholas Taliercio, also a middle schooler, threw a wicked-tight spiral. Taliercio's strength was pushing the ball vertically. Comparatively speaking, these throws were better than when trying to hit targets running across the middle, as receivers throwing such routes often had to slow down and stop for the ball - much of which I chalk up to the disparity in physical maturity between he and his receivers. Lastly, I want to see Taliercio command the huddle a bit more, using his outside voice to call the cadence and snap.
