A breakout defender to know in Cobb County, Scott is a hard-hitting linebacker with versatility, burst, and enough talent to see his recruitment take off in the spring. The 6-foot-1 220-pounder has been incredibly active and a force in the Hillgrove defense this season, securing 77 tackles through his first seven games. He’s also doing it in a very talented region full of teams loaded with Power Four-level defenders. He’s making a lot of plays against talented opponents and will see a significant bump in the upcoming 2028 rankings. Scott has also made an eye-opening 15 TFLs and one INT in coverage. He’s smart, understands the position, and consistently puts himself in a position to make a big play for his team.

Scott is a breakout junior this fall who is going to emerge as a legitimate FBS prospect at LB. He is a well-developed, strong player who acts as a thumper. Has decent closing speed, but will rely on his effort and ability to rally to get after the football. He is a strong player at the point of attack who sets the tone against ball carriers. He also proves capable of battling down low with blockers. He has picked up some D1 traction this fall, and I don’t think that train will slow down.
