The Elkins Wing-T has given Isaac Workman a chance to showcase what he does well, and the 2028 OL has been an important part of the Tigers’ strong start to the season. Workman fits naturally at guard in their system because of his athleticism, and it shows up as a puller. He fires out of his stance quickly, blocks well in space, and works through the whistle. That ability to block on the move adds real value to Elkins’ rushing attack that’s produced big numbers this year. He’s still an under-the-radar name in the 2028 class, but his junior film is giving college coaches more reason to start paying attention.
Isaac Workman has been a key part of Elkins’ strong start up front through the first three games and continues to show why he’s an under-the-radar name in the 2028 class. The 2028 OL is an excellent fit at guard in the Tigers’ Wing-T attack, using his athleticism to pull and lead the way for the running game. Workman does a great job getting out in front of the play and finding work downfield, with his effort through the whistle standing out on film. His ability to move in space and block on the move adds another dimension to Elkins’ rushing attack, and he’s continued to play with that same high motor through the first three weeks. Workman is a fun lineman to watch who has made a strong early impression as a junior.

was a key reason why. Workman was excellent on tape as a pulling guard in the Tigers’ Wing-T, using his athleticism to get out in space and lead the way for Robinson and the rest of the Elkins backs. Workman consistently found himself well down the field looking for work and hustling through the whistle. The entire Tigers OL dominated the night, and Workman was one of the more fun linemen to watch on tape in Week 1. That was a great start to his junior season and an easy addition to the Great Wall of West Virginia.
Elkins has another dependable piece up front in 2028 OL/DL Isaac Workman. The junior fits the Tigers’ Wing-T offense well, showing the mobility to get out on pulls and the physicality to thrive in a run-first system. He’s just as capable of contributing on the defensive side, giving Elkins another experienced lineman who can impact the game in multiple ways. Workman should play a key role in helping the Tigers maintain one of the more physical fronts in Class AAA.
2028 Elkins OL Isaac Workman is a prospect we have been able to evaluate from multiple angles over the last year and debuts in the rankings. After seeing Workman in person at the Exposure Series and evaluating his sophomore film, there was enough there to warrant a spot in the Top 125. Elkins’ Wing-T offense asks a lot of its offensive linemen, and Workman consistently showed he could handle those responsibilities. He moves well for the position, gets out in space effectively on pulls, and plays with the physicality you want to see from a run-first lineman. Workman is not limited to one side of the ball either, as his versatility translates to defense as well. More than anything, he looks comfortable within the system and does a good job executing what is asked of him. Those traits, combined with what we saw in person, made him a player we felt deserved recognition in this update.
