While there isn’t game film available to evaluate yet, we did get to see Kump at our Exposure Series and came away intrigued by his physical tools. He has the 6’4 215 size coaches look for and appears poised to take over the Tigers’ offense this fall. Elkins found success operating its Wing-T last season, but Kump’s skill set could give the Tigers more opportunities to stretch defenses through the air while maintaining the identity that worked so well. He’s one of the more interesting projection prospects in Class AAA, and this season should provide a much better look at what he can become once he posts film.
