Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='480317' first='Cain' last='Brackney'] was a new name to Oklahoma high school football last fall. He moved into the state and landed at Union for his junior season. He had a successful junior campaign and near the end of the semester, Brackney was on the move again, this time he landed at Bixby. And in the last five months, Brackney's recruitment has absolutely blown up. He went through a stretch earlier this year where it felt like he was receiving P4 offers every other day. Brackney is your prototypical inside or middle linebacker that plays like a man possessed and just has a nose for the football. And with the way Bixby produces linebackers, he's going to fit right in with that unit this season. Brackney is incredibly physical and he has only one speed and that was on full display last fall. In this latest ranking update, Brackney was the top stock riser, jumping up 32 spots to #16 overall.

Tight end [player_tooltip player_id='693998' first='Braxton' last='Daniel'] is a 2027 prospect that has seen his recruitment go scorched earth this offseason. Similar to Brackney, there was a stretch in the last few months where Daniel was getting offers on an almost daily basis. Daniel was somewhat banged up earlier in his career and that limited what he was able to do during his freshman and sophomore seasons. Daniel has been a 2027 prospect that we've liked since first watching him even prior to entering high school. It was clear with his size and overall athletic ability that he had some real potential. But prior to his junior season, there were different blockades in the way of realizing that potential. That all changed in 2025 and we cannot wait to see how he continues that momentum this spring and summer. Just like Brackney, Daniel made a massive jump up the rankings in this update, boosting up 23 spots to #18 overall.

Defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1171162' first='Cadriann' last='Olds'] is another 2027 prospect that has really blown up this offseason. We first saw Olds when he was a freshman and he definitely had the ceiling of a prospect that would be near the top of the list at his position. Last fall with Edmond North, Olds started to put everything together, playing on a very talented and dangerous Edmond North defensive line. This offseason, Olds has picked up a ton of interest and has earned a handful of offers and the spring will be big for him to continue to shine if he's going to touch his ceiling as a prospect. Olds is a dangerous defender coming off the edge and knows how to beat the man in front of him to get into the backfield. The pass rusher appears to be on the move and will be playing for Booker T Washington in Tulsa this fall. Olds moved up 16 spots in the latest update, checking in at #29 overall.

Offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1834818' first='Jake' last='Matthews'] was a 2027 prospect that we first watched halfway through his junior season. We were intrigued by his ability and overall size but all of that was based on the film. Then we got a chance to watch Matthews up close and in person at our camp back in February. Matthews was dominant, capping off a really solid day as the MVP selection for the offensive line group. Matthews has seen his recruitment start to pick up over the last few months and we're positive that it will continue in the spring and the summer as the Ada big man goes on visits and camps at various schools. There is a lot to like with him moving forward. And we're intrigued about how he will look this fall. Ada had one D1 offensive lineman on one side of the line but he's off to the next level and now this is Matthews' line. In this update, he moved up 14 spots to #30 overall.

Running back [player_tooltip player_id='1506286' first='Ozias' last='Adams'] is a 2027 prospect that probably isn't being talked about enough in the 6A-1 landscape. He's been an absolute menace against 6A-1 competition over the last two seasons and shows no signs of slowing down. He's also a prospect that we need to get eyes on in person. We've seen the film and we've seen the highlights and you see him running up and down the field against some really solid opponents. But we haven't had the chance to see him up close and really watch him go to work and get a feel for his overall size. But there is no doubt that Adams is one of the top running backs in this class just when you consider the production and the level of competition he's playing against. Adams jumped up 15 spots in the latest ranking update and is now #43 overall and continues climbing the running back charts and there's a good chance he's not done here.
