About AJ

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play a physical, aggressive, and disciplined style of football. I bring toughness to every snap, compete hard, and use my strength and effort to dominate the line of scrimmage on both offense and defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play with confidence and believe I can compete with anyone. My mentality is to outwork everyone, stay focused, and never back down from competition. I hold myself to a high standard and always expect the best from myself.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At this time, my main focus has been academics and football. I have dedicated my time to improving in the classroom and developing as an athlete.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. As an offensive and defensive lineman, I understand the importance of working together and trusting teammates. I communicate well on the field, help keep teammates focused, and lead by example through effort and toughness.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been being a freshman on varsity. I had to adjust quickly to the speed and physicality of the game while learning a more advanced playbook. I spent extra time watching film, studying assignments, and learning from older players. That experience helped me mature fast and become more disciplined.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a strong football program, a competitive team culture, and coaches who develop players on and off the field. Academically, I want a school that offers a strong broadcasting or communications degree so I can build my future outside of football as well. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and value academics.
