About Damari
Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Dean is one of the fastest defensive backs in the state and had a very busy spring and off-season gathering offers from national schools. He should have a breakout season this Fall for another loaded Spartans team and passes the eye test going into his Junior season. He is long and rangy, has elite ball skills and good twitch in his hips in transition while showing he can break quickly on the ball and is not afraid to come up and tackle in space and make plays on the perimeter. Overall, Dean is a very high upside prospect that should continue to see his stock rise this year and is well on his way to being one of the top 2028’s at his position on the west coast.

New Offers: Wazzu, Cal, SDSU, Arizona, Oregon State, UCLA
Notes: Dean is one of the fastest risers in the state for the 2028 class and has been racking up offers all off-season and is in line for a monster year for the Spartans. He has elite track speed, natural ball skills and fluidity in transition while showing man cover abilities downfield and is extremely physical in the run game and a very balanced prospect whose commitment will be one to watch down the line.

Recent Offers: Colorado State, BYU, ASU
Notes: Dean has really burst onto the scene this spring gathering multiple P4 offers as a sophomore and has elite track speed and fluid hips/natural ball skills. He is a still developing player with room for growth but should see a slew of other schools coming in this summer and Fall and is a no-brainer breakout candidate that should have a huge Junior season for the Spartans.
