Bowman is the perfect example of why you can’t pay too much attention to interceptions (or a lack thereof). An impressive athlete, Bowman had 11 pass breakups but no picks as a freshman. As a sophomore, he picked off six passes to be among the state leaders in the category, and his speed and ball skills allowed him to contribute at receiver, too.

Listed as a br back in our database, Bowman wasn’t a high-volume receiver in 2025, but he did damage when the ball was in his hands. He’s an explosive playmaker who is slippery in the open field. His defensive back skills allow him to be a smooth route-runner, even without focusing on the wide receiver position full time.

Bowman has taken some of his momentum from a strong sophomore year into the offseason, picking up a couple of early FBS offers. While he’s a true two-way player, with over 500 receiving yards, we like him best as a long corner, where he was a part of seven takeaways for an excellent Southern Durham defense. He has length, speed, and ball skills, a deadly combination for a corner, and we expect him to continue to develop.
