January Stock-Risers: 2027 OL

I've hit a couple of big-picture items so far, namely <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/01/three-things-to-know-about-the-class-of-2027/">three things to know</a> about the class and my traditional <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/01/behind-the-scenes-of-the-2027-rankings-january-update/">behind-the-scenes piece</a>. We've looked at several position groups, and now we're breaking down the big guys up front. Once a defensive lineman at a smaller school, he transferred up to Hough and became the starting center on arguably the top team in the state. He's put on plenty of good weight, and his strength and aggression have won him admirers at the college level. His snaps are excellent, even as Forestview often used deeper shotgun sets. Cherry really improved his game as a junior, showing that our previous belief that he's a Division II prospect was probably wrong. He's still in the process of reshaping his body and adding more weight to a frame that can hold a bit more. He moves well, and he has a nasty streak to finish blocks.
