Offer These 2026 Prospects: Part 1

Let's take a look at some 2026's that need to get offers.    Jasean is a natural in the slot who has the ability to play out wide. He has good footwork and is good off the line; he is slippery and a twitchy athlete. He's a tough cover and routinely creates separation. He does well tracking the ball and is a receiver who has good hands. He'll be a player that is a quarterback's best friend on third downs, and with his twitchiness, can get open on short timing routes. He's a receiver who runs good routes and can win at all three levels.     Joaquin has good size and a solid frame. He is a versatile defensive back who can be a cover corner, play the Safety positions, and be asked to cover bigger, athletic tight ends. He is a physical playmaker who has good hip fluidity. I saw him at the Weber Mega Camp this summer, and he has great footwork and has hips that surprised me the most. Players of his size and frame you expected to be a little stiff in the hips, but Joaquin impressed in that area. It's likely he ends up as a hybrid Safety at the next level, but is a player who has multiple ways to get on the field.     Louie has been an exceptional running back and a player who doesn't get enough attention. He is a sure-handed receiver. Runs actual routes and can line up in the slot and make defenders miss in the open field, and he put on the necessary weight to be a full-time bell cow. As a runner, he shows good patience behind the line, has the vision and lateral quickness needed to find and get through a closing gap. He does a good job of fighting through initial contact and, once at the second level, has the speed to get to the edge and the power to finish off his runs and punish a defense. He is a complete back.     Paula fought through some injuries this year, but he is a physical defensive tackle who has good strength and a nastiness to his game. He has quick, violent hands and does an excellent job at advancing his position. He is a good run-stuffing defensive tackle who can bring interior pressure and overwhelm an Offensive Lineman. There's traits that will play at the next level.     Vincent came in from California and made an immediate impact. He is an active backer who is quick off the line, moves well side to side and has a good burst. He does well pressing forward and attacking in and closing in on the ball carrier. He does well in coverage and doesn't get lost in space. He'll be an important piece at the next level and will find a way to get on the field and make plays.    Those were five players in the 2026 class who need to be offered.
