One of the most improved 2029 quarterbacks thus far in Nebraska has been Papillion-LaVista’s Wyatt Grimes Wyatt Grimes 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Papillion-La Vista | 2029 NE . You can surely see it in his poise inside and outside of the pocket that this young man has gotten much more comfortable from what we got to see live in Week 1 as Wyatt and the Monarchs just pulled off an upset win last week to Elkhorn North 21-17 just last week. He’s shown efficency on all three levels with his throws and whether it’s in the run or pass game, Wyatt has elevated the Monarchs offensively with his growing football IQ. He’s one that once our Nebraska 2029 rankings come out early next week you can expect to be in the top-tier group at the quarterback position.

Another quarterback this time in the 2029 class out of Papillion-La Vista that showed off peaks of his upside that are incoming is Prep Redzone Nebraska Showcase alum Wyatt Grimes Wyatt Grimes 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Papillion-La Vista | 2029 NE . Wyatt showed off growing poise as a sophomore inside the pocket and one of his passing touchdowns caught my attention the most, as he showed off precision that led his wide receiver in for six as those are the type of throws along the edges that should help Wyatt develop quickly as an early sophomore starter in Class A.
