[player_tooltip player_id='1086191' first='Beckham' last='Werner'], DL - Skutt Catholic - 6'3" 225 lbs - (@beckham_wr)

We highlighted Skutt Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1086191' first='Beckham' last='Werner'] in the preseason as a player to watch out for, and he more than delivered on those expectations. The Sky Hawks' defensive lineman ended his junior campaign with 53 tackles, 14 TFLs, and six sacks, which has already started to earn him attention at the next level. When watching Beckham's junior tape, you see a fiery dude who plays with a mean edge coming off the ball and an intense motor that runs from snap to whistle. Werner does a great job using his first step to explode off the ball, keeping his pad low, and timing his hands well when shooting his punch. I was also impressed with Beckham's ability to defend the run, showing that he can stack blockers and set the edge to force runners inside or blow up the outside run lane for a loss. Solid bend when rounding the corner while being able to build up speed as he closes on the QB. P5 programs have already started taking notice of the Skutt Catholic prospect, and it won't be long before the offers start flying in.

It seems like the Scottsbluff Bearcats reload year in and year out, especially on the defensive side of the ball, and that showed with junior [player_tooltip player_id='2064214' first='Dylan' last='Propp']'s breakout season. Dylan ended the year as the Bearcats' leading tackler with 88 total tackles, 11 TFLs, five sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. Watching Dylan's junior tape, I see a well-rounded linebacker who can be a downhill thumper and is athletic enough to drop back into coverage. I was impressed with Dylan's quick trigger when he keys in on the run, flashing a quick first step as he effectively fills in his gaps and ability to win 1v1s when he meets backs in the hole. Good sideline-to-sideline speed and hustle— several plays where he makes the stop while coming from across the field. Solid size (6'0" and 195 pounds) and length, with room to continue filling out at the next level.

Despite Crete not having the season they had hoped for, there were still several bright spots for the Cards, including receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1870065' first='Peyton' last='Steuer'], who shined in his junior campaign. Steuer was one of six receivers to crack the 1,000-yard mark with 64 catches for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns. Peyton impressed with his route-running ability, which allows him to attack all three levels of the field. When watching Peyton's tape, I saw a receiver who knows how to create separation, whether through route running or by identifying and exploiting coverage weaknesses. Peyton is a crisp route runner who does a great job firing off the ball, stemming the route, then hitting the breakoff point with a sharp cut. He has a pretty solid route tree, which allows him to attack all three levels of the field, showing he can stretch defenses vertically when looking for the deep shot or be a reliable target when you need to move the sticks quickly. One thing that really stood out on Peyton's tape was his aggressiveness at the catch point, working his way back to the ball and making "hands" catches to secure the pass.

Unfortunately, an ACL injury kept [player_tooltip player_id='2064213' first='Sam' last='Dostal'] out of commission for 2025, but he is still building serious momentum on the recruiting trail. Dostal is a junior TE who stands out immediately at 6'5" and 220 pounds with room to continue filling out his frame. Sam projects as a well-rounded tight end who can be an asset in the run game with his blocking and a big-bodied receiving target in the passing game. Sam has made his rounds of P5 game-day visits this season, so the "offer" potential is there once coaches can see him in camps/next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1192532' first='Landon' last='Dean'], TE/DE - Bridgeport - 6'3" 215 lbs - (@LandonDean42)

Bridgeport's [player_tooltip player_id='1192532' first='Landon' last='Dean'] is a player who we have been buying plenty of preseason stock of, and it paid off big time. Dean ended his junior year with 62 tackles, 14 TFLs, 14 sacks, six forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries. Landon was also very productive on the offensive side of the ball with 23 receptions for 418 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns. Offensively, Landon is a reliable receiving target with underrated run-after-catch abilities that can result in monster chunk gains. He possesses big, strong mitts and a huge catch radius to make him a QB-friendly target, especially over the middle of the field. Dean has a great burst of speed after the catch and embraces physicality, challenging defenders to try to bring him down. On defense, Landon plays defensive end, but I can see him playing more of an OLB/EDGE role at the collegiate level. He gets off the ball very well and has shown the ability to win with finesse/handfighting or flat-out muscle his way into the opposing backfield. Landon has great lateral quickness, which allows him to close on the ball in a flash, resulting in him making several splash plays behind the line of scrimmage.
