Austin is a sophomore that is not afraid to do the dirty work on the football field. In 2025 we saw Austin play LB and center for the varsity. At 6′ 195 lbs Austin fits the LB role really well. On tape he shows that he is a downhill, thumper of an LB. He is at his best vs the run game where he can attack and fill his gap violently. Austin has tape showing that he can power his way through OL to get to the ball. Especially if he is able to make it so that he only has to beat half a man with his angles. Austin also shows good eyes for finding the ball, reading the flow of the OL, and mirroring the RB in the backfield to meet them in the hole.
